I visited this hotel as part of a coach trip. It has been said that the hotel is tired and requires attention. That is an understatement. I was in a single room which is always at back and small. There had been a leak at one point and the wall was still stained to a large degree with no attempt...

Thankyou for taking the time to post your review and you'll be pleased to know that I have some exciting news for you. We have a further 16 bedrooms and bathrooms which have been earmarked for a full refurbishment in 2016. This however is not because our current rooms are tired in any way, more because we would like to...

Have just returned from a great weekend break at Eden Arms Hotel. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Rooms large and comfortable. Leisure area very nice. Great base for checking out the area. Easy journey to Durham and Hartlepool. Would definitely stay there again as this is a lot more to see and do. Many thanks to all the staff.

One or two teething problems that where resolved quite quickly. The staff are extremely hard working and friendly. The location is ideal for exploring the area. I booked a 5 day and a 3 day both of which advertised a. "Gaia diner", unless. I missed something twice they didn't happen.

From the moment we arrived at reception to the moment we checked out we received the friendliest, efficient and prompt service from every member of staff that we encountered. Our room (16) was large and comfortable and quiet, maybe not the most up to date but perfectly acceptable. The food was excellent and varied, served very efficiently at table 26...

We have just walked out of this building after waiting quarter of an hour to even to be acknowledged after a the receptionist told us food and drinks were available at the bar. There was not a soul in sight but tables were littered with dirty plates. The menu was awfully limited. Don't bother wasting your time
