The setting is the key here. Totally secluded... like having a private endless beach to walk on. Room was well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were superb and served by a gracious and helpful host. A very special place to stay. Highly recommended.

We stayed here two years ago, and were anxious to return. The really good news is that the government has repaired the road in to the lighthouse. The old road was a real challenge, full of pot holes. The new road is a treat. We enjoyed walking along the coast line, and spotted whales. One night was foggy, and we...

We stayed there on our last night in Newfoundland before taking the ferry. What a beautiful and relaxing place on the water! Nice walking, great sunset views, and wonderful dinner. Ann is very friendly and welcoming. The main house has the common area, kitchen and dining room, as well as two rooms on the second floor. A separate house has...

We stayed at this location because of it's proximity to the ferry and the lighthouse. What a treat! We opted into the dinner and it was fabulous! Anne was a great hostess, very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the separate guest house. Room was comfortable and clean. Sunset, night sky and sunrise were beautiful! We had fun climbing the...

We stayed at this special spot in the codroy valley for one night before our ferry ride home. We were the only guests at this unique inn, which overlooks the lighthouse and ocean. Ann was a wonderful hostess who treated us to a delicious dinner of cod au gratin and lovely conversation. We enjoyed a spectacular sunset on our last...

The most westerly point of Newfoundland and the location is spectacular. Anne, our Inn Keeper was a most welcoming hostess and offered great history and tips on the area. We were fortunate to be staying at the Inn the evening of the "Super moon" in September. The tide and waves were exceptional due to the moon's influence, which made the...

Stay at least two days at this serene, quiet off-the-beaten path location, about 40 minutes from Channel-Port aux Basques, and a 20-minute winding bumpy drive on Route 406 from the Trans Canada Highway. The property includes a working lighthouse and the former lighthouse keeper's restored home where breakfast is served. The separate guest house is rather spartan with lean amenities...

Cape Anguille Lighthouse Inn was everything we hoped for when we booked it. We've travelled to Newfoundland previously but had camped with the children. This trip we decided a nice place like this would be great and it was! Ann and her sister Karen made us feel right to home, they have a great sense of humor and the cook...

This B&B is a renovated lighthouse keepers house located on a beautiful property overlooking the ocean. It is a great get away to sit and watch the sun set over the ocean after exploring the Codroy Valley and the other attractions that southwest Newfoundland has to offer. It is easy driving distance to the Port au Basque ferry. The rooms...

Our first stop in Newfoundland after taking the ferry from Sydney. The road to the lighthouse seems long (there may be sheep in the roadway) but once you arrive it is quite charming. Shirley Temple's "Captain January" comes to mind......Ann, our hostess, showed us to our room which is in an out building. It is spartan. A bed, one end...
