We heard the lions roar so often but it NEVER got old! All facilities are incredibly clean and well maintained. Fellow campers are considerate and tidy. This was an awesome trip for all...wish we could have stayed longer!

We like this zoo for the giraffes. It costs $2.50 to feed the giraffes but it is worth it. There are other animal interactions but the giraffes are our favorite. You can ride in your car around the animals and then go to the park itself. Bring bathing suits. There is a splash area and water slides.

If you enjoy seeing animals up close this is THE place to go. ..It is absolutely amazing. We managed to get a discount on our visit so even better. It is a drive through experience. You see animals very up close like Zebras and Rhinos and antelope and ostriches. They have lions behind security fences..chimps and monkeys on islands and giraffe... More

While the idea of being next to Lion Safari was exciting, KOA was boring. I feel it is overpriced. The park has no tv cable service or WIFI, no garbage pick up service, no golf cars allowed (although park is pretty big) no cafeteria or restaurant on site. NO activities at all. So, other than the pool in which you... More

This was worth every penny of the admission! The animals were great! My daughter (who is autistic) was in heaven! It's a 4 mile drive thru accompanied by a CD you play as you go along. The price also includes entrance to the park also.

Best animal experience in Florida. If you want to really enjoy animal and really feel like you are in a safari this is awesome. Better than Animal kingdom and Miami Zoo because of the price and how unique it is. Loved Lory's Bird Cage, to feed the birds and the Safari was fantastic! The animals are truly well taken care... KOA bored! It rained, no place but the laundry mat to go. Wi-Fi only works by office area, so just lounging on a rainy day watching Netflix wasn't possible. No kids activities, have to sign out every thing to play the games, yet office closes at 5? Pool was closed every night early. Expensive place to camp in a tent...... More

KOA Lion Country in Loxahatchie FL was a big disappointment for a KOA. Their shower/toilet and laundry facility are not air conditioned. When the feels like temp is 103, that is a miserable experience. One night the entire building, both water and power, shut down. To make it worse, during the night they simply locked all the doors without any... More

This is an overall nice campground. It's pricey, but there's a premium to be paid for hearing the lions roar (yes, you REALLY can hear the lions roar). And, we got Lion Country Safari tickets as part of the camping package, so this helped to bring down the price. Staff was friendly. Site (gravel) was level. Store was well stocked.... More

We stayed here for the 4th of July weekend w our grandson, sister, niece and great nieces. We found the campground to be adequate, the pool excellent, and the general store stocked w goodies. However, the bath houses were un-airconditioned and uncomfortable; and fire ants were abundant! The lion country safari attraction associated w this campground is sub par, but... More
