We arrived early and were given a room quite close to reception. That did not matter as it was just an overnight stay. However after some highly disgruntled guest shouted and screamed obscenities the top of his voice for good for five minutes we asked to change our room. The one that we were given was most acceptable. It is clean quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was a typical that one would expect. Amazingly for Florida there was no orange juice. I recognise that the machine was out of order but bottles or cartons could’ve been provided. The place is starting to show its age but the room I had is perfectly well equipped. Oddly enough the doorhandles don’t go down they go up! And I am quite amazed to read about the kind and caring staff as frankly I have never met such distant reserved and cold people in a long time. The young woman on reception were perfectly polite is highly defensive and has clearly what the Americans would call an attitude problem. I think that smiling and being real to customers is clearly beyond her and I rather wonder what she is doing in customer facing situation. I suggest that anyone coming without a car should not do so as this place is a long way from anywhere. Would I stay here again? Probably not as there are other hotels were made to feel far more welcome

Like another reviewer here, our stay began with an issue with the A/C. We were quickly moved to another room, and, when I opened the door to that room and stepped inside, there were clothes in the closet, toiletries in the bathroom and personal items on the bed. Fortunately, there was no one in the room at the time. As they say, the third time was the charm, and we were given a nice room with functioning A/C, absent the roommates.
Our room was comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast buffet the next morning was exceptional, including cheese omelettes, cereals, sausage, pastries, juice, etc.
In terms of the room rate, it seemed on the high end for the location—on a busy local artery. On the whole, we had a nice stay and would return if in the area again.

Great check-inn clerk! The room was clean and comfortable. I did not have any issues. The room had a fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Wifi worked properly. No individual toiletries, shower had pump bottles for soap and shampoo.

This is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room smelled like old urine. The room was very dark which was probably good because in the light of day you could see how filthy it was. The couch had stains on it, the curtains were dirty and the sheets had black marks on them. The bathroom shower was moldy. The breakfast was barely edible and the lady working the breakfast was rude. The best part was that they let us check out a day early.

If you don't mind eating your bacon with a spoon then feel free to stay in one of the available rooms. I looked in every conceivable utensil holder to find a fork to no avail. At first I thought that I was accidentally passing up the fork holder, but when I looked around the breakfast area I noticed diners doing their best to handle eggs and bacon with spoons and knives. There was no half and half-just sugary fake creamers. After a night sleeping on a flat and totally worthless pillow I was looking for a breakfast that was at least edible. It wasn't. Interior hallways looked as if they hadn't been vacuumed for days. Checking out was also an event. The representative didn't crack a smile, say "good morning" or ask about my stay. I had to request a statement which she handed to me without a word. As wages rise, the quality of the employees and the services provided declines.

This is the worst room I ever stayed in on any of my trips. There was mold in the picture frame in the bathroom on the wall plus mold around the tub. The water was leaking so bad from the shower the door started to break apart from being waterlogged. Also the drain stopper was missing in the sink so if you would drop something you could never get it back. Also, the shelf in the closet the bracket on the right side was ripped away from the wall so we could not hang any clothes. This is the worst experience I have ever had staying at any hotel. I demanded a refund but all they would offer me was 25,000 points. We will never stay in a Holiday Inn express again.

Horribile experience. I checked in to hood hotel in September .The room odor was so intense i went to The recepcjonist to get me a different room . This one was cleaner . I spilled Coffe on the table and trying to be polite wiped it with a towel , and I was charged $200 for damage.the hotel manager was rude and disrespectful when I called and Keep saying it was damage. Horrible experience and lying manager hungry for the money. Never again !!! I also learned that if you are a IHG member , customer service stuff will back up the hotel with whatever lie they come up with to charge you for . I will never use those notes ever again . I recommend to stay away.

We chose this location expecting the advertised amenities, unfortunately my 2 teens my husband and myself were very disappointed. After a long drive and arriving late in the evening our family was looking forward to a hot breakfast the next morning. We went down for breakfast at 8:45 as breakfast was to be provided until 10 am. When we saw everything was empty we asked at the front desk and we were informed the breakfast attendant had already filled it and would not be providing additional food. Our family and several other families were all left standing in the breakfast area 1 hour before breakfast was supposed to end with no options for breakfast. The yogurt cooler was even empty. The next morning ( Sunday) the breakfast options were the same. Nothing, even the pancake batter was empty. After the disappointing breakfast amenities the girls wanted to swim. They went down to the pool around 11 am. The water was so cold they weren’t able to put their legs in without their legs becoming totally numb. I called the front desk to inquire about the advertised heated pool. I was put on hold for approximately 15 minutes and than disconnected. I sent an email to the General Manager about our disappointment and received no response at all, that was 1 week ago. I am left to assume that the management had no interest in addressing our concerns. I will make a different choice next time we are in the area visiting family because the area has plenty of choices for accommodations. I was very dissatisfied with the service provided at this Holiday Inn Express.

I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express locations and have found the staff to be good at the majority of the locations. That is not true at this location they far exceed good, all of the employees 24/7 are EXCEPTIONAL they go far above and beyond the extra mile to make sure their guests feel welcome and are well taken care at every moment of their guests stays. With friendly smiles and warm hellos. The facility in itself is well taken care of and exceptionally clean from parking lots, grounds, pool area, exercise room, common areas, hallways, and guest rooms. Their beds are comfortable and I love the pillows with choices of firm and soft. I have always enjoyed the free breakfast and the variety that is offered morning to morning. If the opportunity presents itself I would fondly return to stay at this location again.

Theres nothing like going on a trip and having to deal with your room smelling like cigarette smoke and weed. I put in a complaint and the employee said there was nothing she could do which i understand but she made it obvious that we were not the first to complain. There was an older couple in the room right next to ours who spent the entire duration of our trip smoking in their room and getting into screaming fights. Thats not the worst of it as we were packing on our last day there we had come across roaches all over the hotel room including the bed and all the furniture. Quite honestly I'm disgusted and disappointed the hotel seemed very promising as the staff had great attitudes and were very nice but it would appear that thats the only thing this hotel can get right.
