Beautiful park. The hiking is gorgeous and very unique as it offers some elevation not often found in Florida. The Ranger at the front gate was very pleasant and helpful. I camped overnight at the primitive campsite which was peaceful and very well kept. Can't wait to go back.

Had never been here but there wasn't a lot of campgrounds to choose from. We are so glad we went to Goldhead State Park! 3 miles in was our site. Big and spacious. Alot to do here. Ravine, swimming, hiking, biking. Clean bathrooms. Will be back!

Stayed in one of the older cabins built in the 1930's. Small with a double bed and futon with linens and small towels. Bathroom is large with room. Kitchen has everything you need, bring food. Cabins are spaced so you have privacy. View of Lake and short trail to swimming section. Can rent canoes. Ravine is a beautiful trail. Firepits...

We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the peace. The cabins were simple, just what we wanted. No TV or internet, but that was fine with us There was a TV in our room, so you could bring a DVD player. The kitchen was well equipped. The only negative was the bed, a little too soft for our taste, but...

The kids loved hiking up and down the stream in the ravine, swimming in the lake, and camping in the rustic cabins. The weather was perfect when we were there - warm enough for swimming, but no bugs. The full kitchen was great, too.

We love camping at state parks and this one certainly didn't let us down....we had a blast with the hiking and biking. Its off the beaten path but we certainly recommend it! The campsites where very accessible and it was very quiet..everyone respected each other's privacy....we will go back I'm sure!

Forget the bug spray NOT... just remember to pack fire ant killer and black flag ant and roach spray. There are fire ants everywhere!!! The bathrooms were okay. Other than that it's a quite park, the trails are narrow. They are doing a controlled burn so only one was open. It's historic to see some parts. It is a relaxing...

We biked, hiked and enjoyed the scenery and history... Just a wonderful time. Bathrooms are very clean and a lot of them. A lot of...

We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. We rented a rustic cabin and was quite comfy. It's pretty quiet and had a great time. Lots of peace and quiet. Would highly recommend to get away and relax. Did check out the campsites and I would probably avoid them. They didn't seem very private but that is me.

Camping this time at the park was the best ever. Everything was in tip top condition. Everything looked like it had just been painted . The grounds where we'll maintain. We where we'll pleased as we are camp host ourselves. There is no water in any lakes for fishing or recreation and has been that way for many years. Trails...
