It isn't AT ALL fancy. It is old. It's comfortable. Alot of furniture probably needs replaced. Our first 3 days here there were gale force winds. We couldn't go outside much because of it. Then my back went completely out. HOWEVER, this place was awesome! We met a lady who had been coming every year for 45 years. She told...

I love rainbow bend. Everyone is so friendly and the hideaway cafe is awesome for both breakfast and dinner. My husband really enjoys the boats. Close to a lot of great restaurants and shopping. The pool is terrific. The only bad thing is there is no beach

Rainbow Bend is an old Florida Resort, it is full of charm and laid back atmosphere. If you are looking for the bells and whistles of fancy resorts, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a quiet beach resort with half day use of a boat with beautiful sunrises and friendly staff, this is the...

My husband and I have been vacationing here for many years. First as a family and now on our own. The staff are very friendly and most accommodating. We both enjoy fishing and the free use of a fishing boat for every nights stay is what attracted us over 25 years ago. I like the fact that the resort is...

I was prepared for old and dated...I am fine with Keys kitsch, and I don't hesitate to stay at old, but cared for, "mom and pop" places. Unfortunately, our room was not satisfactory. It had an odor, was not particularly clean, and a cat had apparently used the area outside our door as a litter box. At night a bright...

Great staff - friendly and helpful. Beautiful Views - ocean, landscaping - especially the coconut palms. Beach, pool and spa. Not a good area for swimming in ocean due to weeds but good for canoes that are provided. Great sun rises! Adequate rooms - clean but dated. Would have been better if we could have opened windows to allow breeze...

My wife and I were back for the third time in four years. Had a terrific time. Weather was great. Fishing was great. Staff is courteous and helpful. Plenty of nearby places to eat. ( Try "Outback". A quarter mile north. Great grandma pizza. Good menu and service. Reasonable.) Hopefully we'll make it back next year.

If you can't say anything nice... I did like the beach area, the winds were high and the air was fresh. Beautiful sunrises, lots of Anolies and Iguana's to keep the kids entertained. Good central location between the Key West and Key Largo.

The private beach is great...for watching the ocean, birds, boats, sky. Not so much for swimming, but Sombrero or Bahia Honda are not too far south and both are great for swimming. There is an inground swimming pool and spa but we didn't use either. I was delighted with the huge chess pieces and wished my husband played chess. Palm...
