We are in Islamorada and always try to stay at Kon Tiki. The management JOHN and the nice young lady at the desk are so accommodating and cordial. The atmosphere from the fire pit to the overall ambiance is as cozy as you can get. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location puts you in the middle of everything....

This was the second year in a row we stayed at the Kon Tiki. I'll be honest, the atmosphere is great but the rooms and the manager are poor at best. The rooms are ALL outdated. Our party had a total of 10 rooms for Thanksgiving day weekend. The bathrooms look original with outdated tile and colors. The tubs don't...

I've come here for over forty years. It is always what it is. local quiet and keyzee. The new lights and tables under the palm trees are just perfect. The pool was set at 90. Great steel grills with lids that shut so you can cook on indirect heat. They probably have one of the best fish cleaning tables in...

My husband and I visited this nice little resort with our kids and loved it. Very nice area for the kids to hang out and play. Dockage for our boat was nice and ocean access was a breeze. Unfortunately the management there was terrible. The woman in the office and her "friend" were so unprofessional. My son wanted to know...

We chose the Kon-Tiki Resort for its location, price and great reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed! The grounds were very well maintained and had plenty of lush, tropical plants and palm trees. The area by the water was so nice for relaxing - large hammocks, shuffleboard, grills, benches, chairs, loungers and tiki huts. The swimming pool was clean...

My husband and I traveled to the Keys for 3 nights on a spontaneous trip. We prefer "mom and pop" type places with local character rather than big commercial resorts. We are also not the type to hang around the resort all day... we would rather be out exploring the area and doing activities like scuba, fishing, etc. So for...

We went there with large group. The individual cottages were awesome. The management. Was rude. Promised one thing. Once we arrived had twice as many rules. Would not of our more than two people in a room even if they paid We're very nasty. We will never go back. I think the owners should find new management

Great Mom & Pop/Old Florida Keys style resort. They're located on the bay side and have a number of different buildings and rooms available. They also have a dock so it is accessible by boat as well. If you're looking for the Ritz, this is not it. If you're looking for a no-nonsense, very Keys-y place to hang your hat...
