Yes the base as a private beach in fact two. Five minutes away from the townhouses and your at the Commissary and PX, Class Six Store and Barber Shop,

We stayed in a Trumbo 3BR townhouse the last week of June. We did not have laundry machines in the townhouse. Someone told me there is a facility nearby (close to the pool), but someone else said the facility was on Sigsbee. I never bothered to look for it. I only had a medium load and ended up dropping it off at Hilltop Laundry on Eaton not far from Trumbo. They did a good job and charged $9. Good luck and have fun!
