Heron House is centrally located, an easy walk (or bike ride) to Duval Street and Malory Square. Basic accommodations. Good customer service. Could improve in cleanliness. Towels and sheets were very well worn.
The staff was all very nice and helpful.
The room was comfortable but had an unpleasant smell. The AC was working well but was very noisy.
The wifi was awfully slow. There was not enough plugs for charging electronic devices.
The breakfast was soso.

I was lucky their was a spot in front and I never moved my car. Had it not been for the young man at check in I wouldn't know about the handicap law. I just stopped and had my wife run in to see if we could leave are bags while I went to the city lot. I don't know why he told her about it but was glad he did. We did have a good time and it was a nice place to stay. I can't remember how it was in 1964 when I was there. Long time ago. Thank you
