The setting was in tropical gardens and beautiful. Room was very nice and spacious with separate bedroom and small kitchen. Staff was very helpful and kind. They gave us some recommendations for stone crabs which were very good. The pool and hot tub were perfect temperature. We enjoyed the setting to read books and spend time in the hot tub....

I never give ratings positive or negative but this place warrants one. We rented a higher end room for about $650 per night expecting a luxurious introduction to the Keys. To summarize, it was crap. I cannot imagine the reviews are by actual guests. Stay away unless you get a 60% plus discount. Not really clean, crappy breakfast, spartan bathrooms,...

We just returned from our third visit to Kona Kai. We generally enjoy trying new things but cannot seem to leave this place. The beautiful surroundings and fantastic customer service would be too hard to match. See you next year.

Our recent recent visit was just as special as our repeating 6 years stays! New and devoted owners and new significant property investments are out shadowed only by the continuing world class staff that continue to put guests first. Manager Denise and her cadre of Jennifer, Veronica, Iliana and more provide unparalleled customer focus. This quiet and beautifully elegant property...

My husband and I recently celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary at the Kona Kai and the 3 days that we spent there were absolute perfection. The property is gorgeous and so peaceful and the staff was extremely warm and sincere. What a trip! We sipped wine as we applauded each sunset from our dockside chaise lounges. We also really enjoyed...

We had a 2 bedroom oceanfront suite for 6 days, and we were impressed with the grounds, staff, and cleanliness of the accommodations. Everyone was very eager to please, the bay view is beautiful, loved the iguanas too. The water and fruit by the pool and the continental breakfast were nice touches. Had a fishing guide pick us up at...

Our stay at Kona Kai was simply amazing. My husband and I eloped there and the staff were incredible - they were helpful and kind, they answered all our questions and were responsive to messages. They upgraded our room when we arrived, helped decorate for the ceremony and showed back vendors. They made sure our big day was absolutely perfect...

Stayed for two nights and wish we had planned a longer stay. Tucked away (bayside ) a quiet and peaceful small resort with all you need. Beautiful bungalows ( clean and well appointed ), wonderful Botanic Gardens, pool with hot tube, beach with kayaks, peddle boat, lounges and sun cover. You will not go wrong with your stay. The staff...

We only spent one night at this very romantic resort. Great property, closed to the main road but very quite with a beatiful garden. From our room, which was fully equipped with kitchen, (pineapple suite) we could enjoy an amazing view of the ocean.

Just returned from a memorable 4 night stay in this exclusive resort. We arrived in a down pour, early evening, but Jennifer was on hand to greet us and show us to our perfect hideaway, Kiwi. One of the smaller properties, but perfect with comfortable Queen bed and two seater sofa plus a fridge, coffee maker and glasses for sunset...
