I've been a'lotta places, done a lotta' things, but the Manatee cottage with the entire Key Lime experience has propelled me into a whole new dream! The absolutely charming ambience of the waters, cottages & people have won our hearts. Six days & nights we stayed in charming Key Largo at The Key Lime Sailing Club and took a 2.5...

We have stayed here before, 15 years ago. This time 6 of us stayed in the Mermaid and the Manatee cottages July 7-14th, three per room. I love how you come off the Overseas Hwy to wind thru a boatyard and it opens into a little paradise. Please take note that we are airline employees who have traveled the world,...

If your idea of "roughing it" is using the same towels for two days at a 5 star hotel, you can go right to the next place. If you want adventures in a beautiful setting, but are happy to deal with some "eccentricities" then stay at the KLSC. The place is beautiful. It is on the Gulf side of the...

Kitschy & low-key but CLEARLY one of Key Largo's best kept secrets! This place has it all - very friendly staff, adorable cottages with all that you need, and best of all - it's own Tiki Hut on the water, its own piers, it's own little beach, it's own place to enjoy the water. KLSCC has kayaks, SUP's, small boats,...

At first we were a little concerned when we pulled in, no real signage, lots of broken down boats, and just a real uninviting entrance, but we were then pleasantly surprised with a personal welcome by Paul as we pulled onto the property. He then showed us around the waterfront property where we had access to snorkel equipment, kayaks, stand...

This is our second time at KLSC and it was again wonderful. Very relaxing, friendly people, and love having access to a sailboat during the visit. The sailing area is quite protected which keeps waves to a minimum. Lots of water activities in addition to sailing. Plenty of good restaurants nearby or you can cook your own meal in your...

We just returned from a long weekend at Key Lime Sailing Club and are wishing we could turn around and go right back! We stayed in the Sailfish Cottage which was exactly what I was looking for when planning our getaway. It is a rustic little cottage, with only an outdoor shower and a cozy interior. We spent hours reading...

My family stayed in the main cottage and we were treated like family. This is a great place to stay and take advantage of what the keys have to offer. If you are looking for the latest brand-new place to sleep with fancy modern accommodations, then keep looking. If you want to return home with memories of an experience you...

Our family heads out every year for a beach vacation somewhere. We've stayed in everything from hotels to cottages and we have never felt more relaxed and welcome as we did at KLSC. Paul, Teresa, Captain G, and Jeff are about the friendliest folks I've met. I have to say, they work long hard hours in the hot sun making...

There are so many good things to say. The location is absolute waterfront with it's own dock, Paul (the owner) and his team who can't do enough to help you and the range of water toys to play with are some of them. Our cosy cottage 'The Keys' like the others has a rustic charm to it with a lovely...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Key Lime Sailing Club and Cottages is located on the Bay side of Key Largo. What makes us unique is our cottage rentals come with a free designated 22' sailboat that you can use for your whole stay, also included is the free use of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, dinghies, snorkel gear, fishing gear and bicycles. Sail to the Nest Key island and experience the mud bath on the beach, or sail towing your kayak, then kayak through the mangrove jungle into the hidden lake where you will see manatees. Plus we do Sunset Cruises on a 40' Catamaran for our guests once or twice a week at no extra cost! Rates starts as low as $175 a night on our low season, each of our uniquely decorated and themed cottages comes in different sizes with king or queen size bed as well as bunk beds, and a duplex which can be converted to 1 big cottage that can sleep up to maximum of 13 people. Please Note: We try to limit each cottage to 2 adults per cottage so if you have larger group, please book early so we can make appropriate accommodations, as we like to keep our place quaint and casual for all to enjoy, we have a total of 9 cozy cottages spread out over 1 1/2 acres of land and a back yard equaling 100's of square miles of islands and waterways to explore. ... more   less
