I have stayed here with family in past years and just came back for a girls' weekend to enjoy the Key Lime Sailing Club and Cottages. We stayed in the recently redecorated Main House which was very spacious and comfortable. The Main House has two bedrooms, one full bathroom, one half bathroom, a comfortable living room and kitchen. The customer...

My wife Charlotte and I have been in the travel/hotel business for over 22 years. There is no place like the Keys anywhere, and there is no place like The Key Lime Sailing Club in the Keys. Over the years we have watched as this place has changed a little for the better each year, never losing it's character. From...

If you are looking for a place to feel like you are with family - this is the place for you! We stayed here for 6 nights in June 2016. Each cabin has its unique style. We had a kitchen (fully stocked with dishes and cooking utensils, full size fridge, dining area, comfy bed, gas grill, and a screened porch...

Great place to stay and sail. Kicked back. Plenty of places to eat and supplies within walking distance. Staff very helpful. Great to sail 22' Catalina that comes with cottage. Not many places if any will have that set up. Also kayaks and SUP to paddle around. Also a trip to the mangroves worth doing with kayaks.

This place is wonderful. I am so in love with it but warning, this is NOT for everyone. It is a converted Fish Camp and the cottages are old and VERY unique and the whole place reminds me so much of the way the Keys were in the late 70's. This is NOT the Hilton or Marriot (thank goodness). It...

We stayed for a week in September. The cottage we stayed in was plenty of room for me and my husband. It is not fancy, there was one big room with a king size bed, bunk beds, wicker love seat, wicker table and chairs. The small kitchenette worked for making meals in. It had a small stove and an apartment...

Wonderful vacation. We stayed September 4-11 2016 and felt like it was a summer camp for adults. Sooo much to do and the owners supply it all....sailboats, kayaks. Sunfish, canoes, paddle boards, life jackets, and even coolers and beach towels for your excursions. There is also a sunset cruise on a catamaran. We tried it all out and were exhausted...

Spend last week there and had a blast. The cabin was adorable and I felt like I was at a summer camp. There was plenty to do but not enough time to do everything offered. The weather was great for sailing and we had great instruction from Capt. Mike. Paul and all the guys there were friendly, helpful and made...

KLSC is a small, homey place. Like staying at your friends' camping cabin. The dishes don't match and the window sticks, but it's clean and has plenty of towels. There is no maid service. You pick up after yourself, just like being at home. You can use all the toys ( kayaks, paddleboards, snorkeling gear, bikes, fishing gear) and all...

Avoid this too good to be true trap. The ad in Sailing Magazine hooked us. We wanted a sailing fix and who could resist a sail boat with your room. We should have! We booked a cabin on the beach for 5 days in July and only 4 days in August because the cabin we chose was fully booked except...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Key Lime Sailing Club and Cottages is located on the Bay side of Key Largo. What makes us unique is our cottage rentals come with a free designated 22' sailboat that you can use for your whole stay, also included is the free use of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, dinghies, snorkel gear, fishing gear and bicycles. Sail to the Nest Key island and experience the mud bath on the beach, or sail towing your kayak, then kayak through the mangrove jungle into the hidden lake where you will see manatees. Plus we do Sunset Cruises on a 40' Catamaran for our guests once or twice a week at no extra cost! Rates starts as low as $175 a night on our low season, each of our uniquely decorated and themed cottages comes in different sizes with king or queen size bed as well as bunk beds, and a duplex which can be converted to 1 big cottage that can sleep up to maximum of 13 people. Please Note: We try to limit each cottage to 2 adults per cottage so if you have larger group, please book early so we can make appropriate accommodations, as we like to keep our place quaint and casual for all to enjoy, we have a total of 9 cozy cottages spread out over 1 1/2 acres of land and a back yard equaling 100's of square miles of islands and waterways to explore. ... more   less
