We had a wonderful stay here. The Continental Inn is the best kept secret in the Keys. It’s perfectly located – far enough off the beaten path to relax and close enough to civilization to get to any desired retail. We stayed in unit 29 (ground level, near the beach) which was clean, comfortable and well-equipped with everything needed. The...

I found this place to be a diamond in the rough...a bit outdated and retro but had everything you need, very quiet peaceful setting with an excellent mid Keys location. Found the facility to be very clean and quaint with a laid back feel to it. I would stay again!

Good things: the price and location, the overall feel of the place, full kitchen, nice pool area(but not much shaded seating). Not so good things: seaweed covered beach, so it was unusable, lousy WiFi, no staff on site after 5 pm (to check you in, or to fix your clogged toilet), low water pressure, beds that were as hard as...

We stayed at the Continental Inn for St. Patrick's day weekend. Overall the facility is quite nice. It's very quiet and there are a lot of people there who are our age...no teens and only one small child. There is a small beach that's wonderful for relaxing in the lounge chairs and there are chairs by the pool for relaxing...

The manager is rude and there were 2 roaches in our room. Elizabeth and Jojo had 0 customer service skills. Cleaning staff complained about cleaning our room. Too expensive for the lackluster facility and services.

Management response:

It is unfortunate that the Continental Inn did not meet your expectations. Our goal is for every guest to have a wonderful stay. Your trip may have been negatively impacted because the size of your group was much larger than the reservation indicated. The maximum occupancy of the poolside rooms is 4 people, your group of 12 necessitated the rental...

Nothing bad to say about this place. Rooms or true condos with full kitchens. Staff could not be friendlier. Grounds spotless. Rooms spotless. Beach area spotless. Will defiantly return. Whoops already booked for my return.

We stayed one night on our way back from Key West. We had a 2 bedroom unit. It was very nice, each room had 2 double beds, living room, full kitchen. Very clean. Beautiful pool and grounds. Has a beach area to sit and access to the water. People were very friendly and helpful. We arrived late and they made...

We stayed in unit #5, and family traveling with us was in #4. Each unit is independently owned, so expect varying quality. We were very happy with Unit #5. It's decently updated room with everything you need to cook a few meals and sleep comfortably. Despite being steps from the pool (which was a plus for us), it was very...

We stayed at the Continental Inn for two weeks. Room rates were the best in Key Colony Beach or Marathon. We stayed in unit #29 which is located downstairs and one unit back from the beach. There is a view of the beach from the back patio. The room is very clean and well furnished. It has a well stocked...
