As an older couple, we need a hotel that provides eat-in dining and walk-to restaurants, WiFi for communication, fun places to shop, comfortable rooms, excellent and attentive staff, opportunity to meet people on site, and easy parking for vehicles, and access to great tourist sites. The Inn met our criteria.

Well, I have friends in Gulfport and needed a healing place after my mom's death. I booked 2 nights on Hotels.com; while I was there, I was able to book another 2 nights as it showed availability on-site and did not on the website. The rooms are quaint and wonderfully appointed. I stayed in 4 rooms as there were no...

This hotel, once a military hospital, is the perfect location for visiting Gulfport, Florida. It's on the main street, walking distance to the very few blocks in this town, almost surrounded by St. Petersburg, on Boca Ciega Bay. The building is historic and has its charm, breakfast is okay but nothing special, and the rooms, although well-maintained, are quite small. By...

Our third visit to Gulfport for contradancing weekend at the Gulfport Casino (nothing to do with gambling, just Italian for "big house"). Wonderful - we reserved same room at Peninsula Inn for next year. Gulfport is a delightful place, quiet, good weather, easy to get to, with enough restaurants and shops for some life, but not crowded. The library is...

The restaurant at Peninsula Inn has become our new "go to" spot in Gulfport & we recently dined there for the third time with friends from out of town. The decor, ambiance & service were once again first-rate & everyone's food (& drink) was fabulous. Their bartender really knows what he's doing with cocktails & after dinner drinks...they were all...

I'm afraid to tell people about this AMAZING inn. I want to keep it a secret. It is so lovely, clean, friendly and everything is HOMEMADE and delicious. I stumbled on this town and inn. Gulfport is a sleepy beach community with all of the lovely features and friendliness that goes back in time -- yet the town is very...

I was looking for a unique place to stay and found the Historic Peninsula Inn to be a great choice. The room was quaint and very comfortable. Veronica, the owner and her staff were...

On a recent trip to Gulfport I stayed at the Historic Peninsula Inn and was pleasantly surprised with the hotel its Ah-mazing restaurant (Isabelle's) and the lovely little town of Gulfport. Each room has a personality of its own and this sweet little Bed and Breakfast is a great place to unplug and enjoy life. Although the town itself is...

We spent Dec 23rd and 24th, leaving Christmas morning. Breakfast was great. Veronica does wonderful fritatas. The bartender is the best. It is a nice homey atmosphere and everyone is so friendly. The area is close to the beach and there are many shops and restaurants close by. It is quiet and restful. We made new friends.
