I'm afraid to tell people about this AMAZING inn. I want to keep it a secret. It is so lovely, clean, friendly and everything is HOMEMADE and delicious. I stumbled on this town and inn. Gulfport is a sleepy beach community with all of the lovely features and friendliness that goes back in time -- yet the town is very...

I found the Historic Peninsula Inn on line. It was the first week of retirement for me, and I wanted to plan something special to do. I was looking for a unique place to stay and found the Historic Peninsula Inn to be a great choice. The room was quaint and very comfortable. Veronica, the owner and her staff were...

On a recent trip to Gulfport I stayed at the Historic Peninsula Inn and was pleasantly surprised with the hotel its Ah-mazing restaurant (Isabelle's) and the lovely little town of Gulfport. Each room has a personality of its own and this sweet little Bed and Breakfast is a great place to unplug and enjoy life. Although the town itself is...

We spent Dec 23rd and 24th, leaving Christmas morning. Breakfast was great. Veronica does wonderful fritatas. The bartender is the best. It is a nice homey atmosphere and everyone is so friendly. The area is close to the beach and there are many shops and restaurants close by. It is quiet and restful. We made new friends.

This is a perfect fit if you're looking for the opposite of a cookie-cutter traditional American hotel experience. It is truly an old fashion inn in the heart of the Gulfport art district. It is steps away from shops, bars, restaurants, and street vendors. The room felt like I was a guest in a house. The owners and staff were...

The atmosphere at The Historic Peninsula Inn & Isabelle's was the perfect backdrop for our Annual Holiday Office Party. We enjoyed our time, the food and the experience of learning the history of the Inn and Gulfport Florida.

Tucked away in Gulfport, this place is a gem. The rooms are unique and very comfortable. The Inn has been transformed by Veronica Champion, the owner for the last year. She has poured her heart and soul into the property, and you feel it. The staff are very receptive to your every need. The Inn provides relaxing public spaces to...

12/19/16 Our office held its’ Christmas party at the Historic Peninsula Inn in Gulfport Florida on Friday 12/16/16. The Florida weather cooperated, and our very charming hostess and owner of the inn, Veronica Champion, was able to set things up in the beautifully lit courtyard where we were able to mingle with our group. Kate, CJ, and Nicole along with...

I absolutely LOVED my stay at the Historic Peninsula Inn. My room was super...quite different from your standard "hotel" fare, very comfortable, clean and charming. The staff was super....friendly, courteous and very accommodating. The Inn itself is very charming and has a lot of character. I loved my stay at this delightful old "hotel with a history". Built in the 20's, and nobly served as hospital during the war (which accounts for the overly large elevators...to get the gurney's to fit !) The owners are right on property, and are100% there for their guests. Delightful little bar, with a nice beverage, cocktail, wine selection, a...
