In the area for the night and wanted to be close to Eckart College for the next day. Made the reservation on line. It's in a quiet part of town, close to the pier (2 block walk) and there are plenty of places to shop or eat. Service is excellent and personal. Rooms are a little small but ok with...

This is a well run, quaint, old, small hotel in an interesting artsy beach town. Built in 1905, it has more character than the average hotel. It allows pets, is very quiet, and has an outstanding restaurant with a perfect outside dining area and talented live piano player. The bed and bathroom were excellent. The owner is upbeat, pleasant, very...

We needed a place that was pet friendly and in Gulfport. We booked last minute and had no regrets. Venerable older place, so don't expect glass and steel. There is an elevator, but if a sliding gate scares you, don't. The room was comfortable and cozy. Single shower in ours. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but enjoyed the free...

Thank you Gus, It was a pleasure meeting you and Erin and we all look forward to seeing you often! As you know, Gulfport is a charming town where neighbors become friends pretty quickly! We were glad to see that you were able to join us in the restaurant and hope to see you back again soon. Thanks again!

I was also traveling with my furry baby and it was a great location to be able to walk with him as well. Great location- Very safe- we walked...

Any hotel can provide a bed to sleep in. But The Historic Peninsula Inn along with their restaurant (Isabelle's) and the town of Gulfport provided a truly pleasant and memorable experience. I was traveling on business and didn't quite know what to expect when I arrived. It is a small historic hotel in the center of a small town with...

We stayed in late August on a very humid evening when sitting outside was uncomfortable. The Inn has nice front veranda seating and garden seating but no real comfy interior places. Our room was tiny but clean. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling and the pipes were rusted. Internet was spotty. The remote for the TV would not allow...

This historic Inn is worth the visit and stay. We stayed in the Princess Suite which was very spacious and comfortable and accommodated 4 people very nicely. The Inn is lovely and their restaurant was superb. They graciously accepted our reservation for family members totaling 23 and the service and food were great! It is centrally located to shops and...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Historic Peninsula Inn from July 11-16. We loved it so much that we were lucky enough to book an additional night in the same room. The Inn is located on Beach Blvd S which is a central street filled with shops and restaurants but you must try the restaurant at the Inn. The...

Lovely experience at the Peninsula Inn in Gulfport. We had our Honeymoon there and it was even more beautiful than we expected. Lots of exquisite historic charm. Clean, attractive and well decorated.
