I received no response. Marriott closed the case. Let me provide you below with my email that I sent to you with the date it was sent. I have removed your email so the public does not have. From: Ft. Walton GM (Taylor Hall) <taylor.hall@fourpointsdestinfwb.com> Sent: Friday, October 5, 2018 12:10 PM To: REMOVED FOR THIS POST Subject: Four Points by Sheraton Good Morning Ms. Doris, Thank you for contacting Marriott/Starwood Customer Care. I have been sent your letter in regards to your complaints. First let me apologize for not reaching out to you. When Charis came to me about your complaints- she stated that you and her had a follow up after our investigation. I was more than happy to be involved, as I did do the investigation. So again, my apologies that you wanted to hear directly from me. I want to say that I am very sorry you are unhappy with your venue choice. We do close to 40 weddings a year and to be honest, this is the first I have had these issues arise. So the minute I heard of this from Charis, I investigated. I spoke to each server and bartender separately, one after the other. Once I heard their statements, I went and spoke to my Chef and his cooks. After that, I spoke with Charis. After speaking with all parties involved, I went to my video cameras. A few findings there. I never saw my bartender close the bar. My servers were all dressed in their uniform in black pants and their black button downs, with the exception of Ashley, who was new to the property but not new to banquet serving for weddings. The bartender is seen on camera going to the kitchen to grab more ice, and only once do I see her go and retrieve more beer. My server did fall, after it is seen on camera with a guest backing into her while she had a tray full of glasses. This is not the fault of anyone as these are accidents that happen and of course I wish they did not. As far as the bar collapsing, yes this did happen. Again, seen on camera there was one guest around at the time that did knock into the bar. There were truly no guests around to get wet from. There were two ladies that came over after the bar fell to help the bartender, actually. Our team quickly (within 3 minutes see on camera) had the bar area set back up and cleaned up. At no time in the beginning of the night does the camera show an overly large line with guests waiting 20 minutes or more. We had adequate staff for your wedding. We do not have bussers as the servers both serve and remove plateware. I wanted to discuss the bartender and cash bar. I was overly concerned when I was informed of 10 guests paying a certain amount for their drinks. Again, there is no way for either of us to prove this occurred however, I will say the money taken in that night from the cash bar was not very much. I will also say that on camera, I can not see the monetary amounts taken from the guests. I also see that you feel tables and salts were removed from tables at 10:00pm. I will say any and all food items will always be removed from the tables. However at 10pm there is not one table being broken down. We do show two tables that have table cloths being removed at 1030pm with obvious debris on them. You had about 10 guests left in the area and they were dancing. These two tables with obvious debris on them were not being utilized and were the furthest from the dance floor. However, I did give staff instructions to not do that in the future. Although, again, I have never received a complaint like this. The bamboo set up- this is not a misrepresentation of our hotel. This set up that we did for you- in the picture you have, actually to me looks like the wind was blowing and has wrapped around the poles as we do not set it up like that, however, I do not have any video of this to look at. I will say the picture on our webpage- of course is from a wedding we had here and the bride selected those colors in which she did have a professional decorator do. Had there been any concerns of this day of I would have expected by team to address this immediately and make it more to your liking. Ms. Doris, At the time you spoke with Charis you were requesting a 25% discount, now you are requesting the entire wedding amount refunded. I do not feel there is a refund warranted as I have thoroughly investigated my staff as well as the cameras. I also hope this email does not come off as less than apologetic for your concerns, but I do want you to know I did thoroughly investigate this matter. I take feedback very seriously and concerns from my guests as high priority. I am more frustrated that these concerns you had were not addressed until 4 days after your departure and there was no way for us to address these issues at first contact. However, after my thorough investigation, I will not be refunding. I can absolutely offer you 35,000 points in good faith, but that is the extent of our compensation. I will also be sending my response to Marriott/Starwood so they are up to date on my communication with you. Best Regards, Taylor

We have breakfast lunch and dinner on property but a plaza down the road within walking distance which is made up of only restaurants.

Who can I contact to reserve beach chairs?
There is a guy in the shack at the end of the boardwalk who rents them along with jet skis and such. 30 dollars for the day. I’m sure the front desk can help you with reserving them.
