Re-Opening Soon! Enjoy a peaceful stay at the waters edge! Cornerstone Beach Resort is comprised of one and two bedroom suites and is located mid island away from the commercial area to allow for a relaxing vacation. The resort is 1/2 mile south of the Publix, 3 miles south of Times Square and 1 mile north of Santani Plaza. Every suite has a private screened lanai with unobstructed views of the beach and gulf. There is a full kitchen, washer/dryer, TV's with HDTV, WiFi, sleeper sofa, a large bathroom with walk-in shower, king size beds in every unit. The two bedroom guest room has either twin beds or a queen size bed. Our heated pool has gulf views and once you are out of the pool gate you are on the beach with miles of sugar white sand in each direction. Beach chairs, umbrella, small cooler and beach towels are also provided in every unit.

My first reaction upon arrival was how clean and homey our one bedroom condo was. We felt right at home the minute we walked in. Well appointed with anything you need including starter kits of Tide for the washing machine and paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, etc. All the cooking utensils you could need, kitchen towels as well as beach towels, Tommy Bahama beach chairs and beach umbrella, and even a small cooler! There is an ironing board and iron, and a safe in the bedroom closet. Really they thought of everything! The bedroom was carpeted with tile throughout the rest of the condo. The decor was classic beachy, with bright colors and room darkening shades. The lanai is screened in making for not great sunset pics, but with only a few steps to the beach you can just walk down to enjoy the beautiful nightly sunsets. The pool is a nice option on windy days and has a view of the beach as well. With only 12 units, there are no issues with crowds or not being able to find chairs. You feel as if you have the place to yourself. They have a gas grill onsite which we used one night and no worries about someone else wanting to use it at the same time.
The mid-island location is perfect! Out of the “spring-break” life, but close enough to enjoy it if you so desire. Traffic is an issue the closer you get to Times Square, even slower than pedestrians at times. Parking is limited as well, we found a private lot for $20 all day since the public beach access lots were full.
The tram/trolley was not as reliable or accessible as we thought it would be. The tram does not go as far south as Cornerstone so we had to jump off and cross the street to wait for the next “trolley” Not a big deal, but we just didn’t know. The trolley that has the stops right by the Cornerstone does not come often or on any schedule.
You can’t go wrong with Cornerstone and we will definitely return when we go again and have already recommended it to our friends!

On a recent trip to FMB, I had the pleasure to stay at Cornerstone Beach Resort. I was not disappointed. The place is well kept and located in a quiet and safe Mid island location. The Views of the Gulf, Beach and Sunsets can been seen from the Living Room, Kitchen and Lanai and are Spectacular! Very Nice White Sandy Beach, just steps away from the Pool ( both felt very private ). Lori was Wonderful. She was very available and helpful with my Reservation to making sure I was Comfortable and Satisfied with my Unit. If you want to avoid Crowds, Traffic, Noise, the Party Atmosphere and have a 100% Relaxing Trip, plan your next stay at Cornerstone.

Travelled with family (wife + 3 kids) for the week leading up to New Years. We absolutely loved the location as the location is not in the heart of the bustle of the island (when you cross over the bridge). All units are facing the gulf and are fully furnished, which a kitchen is critical for how we travel. The condo was well maintained and appreciate that someone was at the grounds every morning cleaning/ ensure all was in order. It was also nice to have beach chairs and umbrellas available. Only suggestion to the owner of our unit: update the bedding. Everyone is different and likes different comfort levels but the bed felt either old or had cheap springs.

My husband and I spent a week at Cornerstone Beach Resort last month. This was at least our 6th visit to the facility. We absolutely love everything about CBR, the location mid-island keeps us from noise from the busy center at night; the views from the porch are lovely; the units we've stayed in are always very clean. We would not even consider staying anywhere else when we visit the beach. The Cornerstone managers are wonderful, a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend Cornerstone for your next vacation!

Excellent visit to Cornerstone! After Hours check in was easy at the other associated property office. Our condo was the top floor with excellent view and right on the beach. All units seemed to have a great view. Spotless comfortable and appropriately equipped unit. It's on a quiet part of the beach, and the beach was never crowded, but we were there in the lowest of low season. Beach chairs and cooler were provided. Some beach toys were available as well. Contact with Jodi at the rental office was easy and all questions were promptly answered. Only one restaurant within easy walking distance so we rented a scooter from Fun N Sun....super easy...and went into town most nights. Lover's Key State Park is minutes by scooter south, with a pristine beach and crystal clear water, but most days we hung out at our beach. Mid Island water sports is right next door on the beach. They have a great Jet ski tour of the vicinity and Dolphin watching....super convenient. Publix delivers groceries, and we set that up for the morning after our late arrival, which worked out perfectly.
Overall Great Property, well situated with excellent beachfront location and beach views that is well run. Highly recommended!

Had an extremely relaxing vacation here in January. The pool was heated, perfect temperature for that time of year… Had everything we needed to make breakfast and whatever other meals we desired to in room, comfy bed and pillows, and you could walk right out and be on the beach right away! Beautiful views, I couldn’t have asked for more. Very accommodating as well!!

Very well appointed one bedroom condo ON THE BEACH. Comfortable bed, walk in shower, washer/dryer, beach towels chairs and umbrella provided. We rented chaise loungers with a bigger umbrella every day for reasonable daily price. They put it up every day at 8am and took them down at 5om. I couldnt find fault unless it was weather related and it was wee bit cloudy one day. October is our new favorite month on FMB.

Cornerstone was recommended by a family friend and it did not disappoint! We stayed in a 1 bedroom corner with fantastic views of the ocean. Unit had everything we could possibly need even a washer and dryer. Very well appointed and immaculately clean!!! What I loved about this place was that it only has 12 units. You almost feel like you're alone. There was a brand new grill by the pool area for grilling and every entry way is key coded so it is very secure. Can't wait to cover back and stay for longer!

This was our first visit to Fort Myers beach and the choice of this condo met all our needs and more . Thank you to Jodi for handling our reservation from Australia. When we arrived to check in it was seem-less and easy. The One Bedroom apartment was comfortable and well equipped with great laundry/ dryer, dishwasher plus all the other things you need for a break plus easy access to beach. We highly recommend this for a vacation stay or in our case meeting up with our son and family.

Only 12 units make this a great place to stay! Beautiful pool and then white sandy beach along the clear blue water. Wonderful management team Well equipped units--this is our second time and we will return again next year. We order lounge chairs for the beach and a big umbrella from Mid Island sports closeby for about $100 for the week. They set them up at 8am and take them down at 5pm. So very resort like...

We do not rent them, but Mid-Island Watersports has a kiosk right on the beach next to Cornerstone and they rent them along with waverunners and parasailing.
Hi, Baboo26. Yes, there three great, public courses w/in 15 miles of Cornerstone. Fort Myers Country Club Golf Course and Shell Point Golf Course are north in Fort Myers and Bonita Fairways Golf Club is south in Bonita Springs. Enjoy!
Hi Nikki, Right now we don't have any availability those dates. There is a calendar on the Cornerstone website and if there are any cancellations it will be posted there.
We only have 2 days open in the entire building, March 2nd to March 4th in a two bedroom. I don't think that will help you very much. If you are interested please checkout the the website and we have a booking page. The rate for the 2 days would be $678 plus tax.

Most of the spring break crowd will be in March 2017. Easter is April 16, 2017. You should miss most of the crowd. I highly recommend Cornerstone for the value and the experience. I'm planning a trip back there the first week of May and I can hardly wait. It's very, very relaxing.
There are more places to choose from in the Fort Myers Beach area.
