Not so much old Florida charm as just old. Very tiny room, uncomfortably tiny bath, mattress like a hammock, ants in the kitchenette. Avoid this place. Spring for some place in a higher bracket or just go with a chain motel.More

Thank you very much for your feedback. The Flamingo Inn is a small family owned hotel, not a chain motel and therefore not comparable to one. Most of our hotel rooms are beautifully remodeled with gorgeous travertine tile, all new furniture and other features. However,...More
Just a little too far out from the main shops and bars/restaurants. The first day we walked it, must have been at least 3 - 4 km along a road which has lots of long term road works or along the beach. After that we...More

Thank you for your feedback!

We stayed for a long weekend and brought our two elderly dogs. Room 101 is the best room for pets - all tile and it has a full kitchen. King bed, two armchairs and the a/c works great for the hot summer months. No dishwasher,...More
Everything was wonderful. Very convenient and staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. If we are ever in Fort Myers Beach again, we'll definitely stay at the Flamingo Inn again. Thanks.

Hello, Jody,
Yes we do have hair dryer in the room and have some beach chairs for our guest to use. Trolley run by the hotel every day from 7am until 8:30pm.
Thank you.

The hotel does not offer shuttle. You can get taxi or airport transportation to the hotel. (it is probably around $60.00). If you are renting a car take I-75 up to exit 116 Bonita Beach Rd. Follow the road (about 10 mil) to... More
