I will start by saying that I first went to The Elysium about ten years ago and then about six years ago. Those two visits were very nice. Great staff, free parking for guests, free breakfast, social hours on weekends, nicely maintained. The rooms were outdated but they were in the process of updating rooms. We had stopped going to...

Arrived today to below standard rooms Scruffy and in need of a total refurbishment Seven of us checked in and within five minutes checked out and moved to a better hotel It's beyond tired, basic rooms and facilities and gave an impression of unhygienic. The receptionist was helpful and polite and could not apologise enough Sorry but won't return Avoid...

The manager was absolutely rude and nasty. He was extremely unhelpful. The rooms are outdated and not very clean. Our air conditioner unit was broken. It took maintenance 2.5 hours to come look at it only to tell us that it wud be another hour before we get moved to another room. This hotel and staff cost us a night...

About the same price as other places in the area. Several years ago was beautifully maintained with nice gardens. Now, The furniture is so dirty we won't sit on it. Appears to have dog hair on it?? Staff apologizes and states " sorry but there is nothing I can do..". No towels for the pool. Nothing on the walls but...

We have stayed here 2 years ago and it was okay and fun. This time it was a disaster. Apparently a new company bought this resort and has not paid attention to the details. We booked on the Elysium website which apparently isn't supposed to work. We booked a 2 bedroom suite and when we got there we had a...

The hotel has a good location and is reasonably priced. This property is in desperate need of renovation and attention to cleaning. The staff is friendly and does the best they have to work with. The wireless internet access didn't work there was mold in the shower. The owners of this hotel neeed to invest in renovation or close the...

Change of ownership in 2016 is taking this property downhill. Distinct feel that it is being let go. Have stayed many times over the past few years, and it had been a good value for money, but now the grim feeling will keep me away. Particular gripes - no breakfast, $10/ni. charge for parking, only 5 loungers at pool (should...

I usually stay at the Grand Palm Plaza (also one of the hotels in the NBV group) when in Fort Lauderdale but decided to try something different when I had two days here at the end of a 16 day cruise. I wish I had stayed with the Plaza. First of all there are stairs, stairs and more stairs with...

The rooms are ok, but the hotel is bore, very alone all the time, no body is around, it is almost like to be in a ghost hotel, not good to make friends. The internet is horrible, slow, disconnecting all the time, some times for hours. There was rats around the main pool and the exterior areas doesn't look good....
