Bit worried booking this place as i've never stayed in a gay resort but from the moment we arrived we were treated like celebs by the owners but very much left alone in peace. room was huge, spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed that could easily fit three adults in ...not that we tried !! and a separate lounge. pool...

I stayed here for one week during November and whilst the resort attracts an older clientele it is equally suited to younger visitors as well. There is a poolside friendliness without being overbearing or affecting privacy if that's what you prefer. Rooms are clean and service is impecable; nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Located a short two...

I was searching for a last minute booking for a friend arriving the next day and saw on their website that they had a room available for the dates I needed. Since i live in Ft Lauderdale I drove to the inn and pressed the buzzer., It was answered with "Are you a guest", I responded no, and asked if...

So I guess it all depends on what you're searching for. It's a quiet location - maybe too quiet during our visit. The pool is heated however the foliage shaded the pool most of the day but because it's such a quick walk to the beach, we chose to head to the beach. Didn't use any of the other amenities...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Cheston House for a romantic weekend in early October. (We needed to get away from the impending fall season in DC!) This was my second visit to Cheston House and his first. In summary: We loved it. In fact, I loved it better than the first time I went last year. Chuck and Earl...

I was there this past weekend with T.S Isaac closing in. I was not sure what to expect. Apart from being charmingly retro, the room was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. The know the definition of anticipation when it comes to guest service. Much to my surprise after spending the day about town, upon my return I...

average quality place at good location in Fort Lauderdale Although reccommended it was under my expectations. I chose this place even if it was on the expensive end of the options I visited but no special atractions found. An average room, small sized tv inside closet. Average breakfast no special services at all. A pool, as everywhere else on the...

I stayed at the B&B for 4 nights and from the time I checked in until I checked out the staff was GREAT! Everyone was friendly. I returned after i checked out with friends to hang out pool side with some great new friends that I met while staying there.

Just got back from a fun relaxing few days in Fort lauderdale. The hotel was very pleasant but spare. Quiet and very friendly. The rooms are modest (but so are the prices). The lightly heated pool and the cozy pool area were the best parts, a block and a half from the beach. Nothing fancy, but was just what I...

I often stay at the Worthington in Fort Lauderdale, but that was full and I tried Cheston House instead. I was very pleased I did, it's exceptionally friendly, nicely laid out, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It's only downside is the lack of a hot tub. Highly recommended.
