The accommodations were clean the staff was courteous the location was excellent; all else was wrong. The accommodations are simply hotel Like and not noise insulated so you can hear all neighbors, there is no Spa (which I required and went there for a 'spa day'), also I'm not sure how it's a resort. Sad!

The Royal Palms Resort & Spa did not live up to glowing reviews and descriptions. There was no restaurant or bistro onsite, contrary to the advertisements. One of the more annoying features is the parking situation. There are just a few parking spots scattered around 3 sides of a city block and you have to drive around trying to find... More

We have stayed at The Royal Palms many, many times in the past. It was almost completely empty this time, while all the other guest houses in the neighborhood were full. Our main complaint was that they wanted to charge us $38 for a late checkout, which we did not want to pay. We were told by Kleber at the... More

Checked in late & bathroom not clean. Changed rooms and all was fine. Bedrooms large, fresh & perfect. Needed to prompt for daily room clean - then everything was spot -on. Staff were attentive - and everything was as described. Part work/part holiday - ideal.

I needed a place to stay in Fort Lauderdale for the weekend and I knew I wouldn't be spending too much time at the hotel, so I didn't want to break the bank on one of the big luxury hotels in the area. The Royal Palms was a great choice. It's only a block from the beach. I was greeted... More

We had an unexpected longer stay due to hurricane Matthew and I am so glad we did because we were taken care of so well by the staff. When everything was closed due to the storm, even the hotel's kitchen, they whipped up a few sandwiches for my husband and I (he had some health issues and could not wait... More

This is our 4th trip to this resort. First three experiences where four and one half to five stars easy. This is not the same hotel. First of all, we are burdened with a $100 security deposit on the room. Where does this come from? I've travelled all over the world and never had to pay a security deposit on... More

Beautiful rooms with king size beds that is a five minute walk to the beach and close to great restaurants and shopping. Fantastic Sunday tea dance and bar. Great out door restaurant call The Bistro Cafe. Great food and great service. My boyfriend and I spoke to Steve who told us all the changes taking place in the North Beach... More

It's the same fun, relaxing place. It's my morning place for relaxation and showing me why I'm in Florida. For 9 years I come each morning for my royale kir and soak up the sorroundings. Yes, there's a slightly large building across the street; yes, it's not totally gay; yes, staff has changed like in any business. But...big but. I... More

Wow......want a fabulous weekend! We came up from Miami to celebrate two of our friends fiftieth birthday "celebrations" this past weekend at the Royal Palm Hotel. From the moment we "checked in" the service and staff were amazing!! Friendly, courteous, efficient, professional, and accommodating to everything we needed. We had three rooms reserved and each of the guests were escorted... More
