We've stayed at the Hoyt House several times and always have a great experience. This time we took our dog, and though we could not get our usual room, we were able to get into a different room for the three-night stay. The hotel and the amenities were as old-Florida as ever, the pool and hot tub were great as...

The bed and breakfast was wonderful. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was delicious. I especially liked the pool and the hot tub. I also enjoyed the bar which served s complimentary cocktail each afternoon. It was also the perfect location to walk to all of the great restaurants in the area. It was only a quick drive...

We are frequent visitors to Amelia Island, and this was our fourth bed & breakfast stay on the island. While this will not rank as my favorite b & b on the island, I would not hesitate to stay here again in a minute. The room was as advertised, and the inn was clean and well-maintained. The towels in the...

We drove up from nearby Jacksonville to celebrate my husband's birthday. He doesn't like to be doted upon, but he really enjoyed our stay. I'm originally from New Orleans, so I love visiting a historic home. We've stayed at several bed and breakfast properties over the years, but Hoyt House is our new favorite. Location: It is perfectly situated, allowing...

Spent a great two nights at the Hoyt House Inn - welcomed with a drink ( we had missed the happy hour with our late arrival) and great ideas for where to have dinner. The inn is beautiful, and beautifully kept - you can imagine all the happy times that were held there when it was a family home years...

True Romance My wife and I have recently returned home from extensive travel throughout the state, and memories of our stay at the Hoyt House Inn are still ”Front and Center” in our minds and hearts. This well located gem of a bed and breakfast proved to be one of the most romantic settings we have ever been to in...

Thank you is not enough for this review. Truly touched by your poem. It is beyond my eyes sometimes as they have been seeing as an Innkeeper, you forget the true beauty the mansion invokes. I fell in love again after reading your review. We read this and return back to why we love being Innkeepers. Thank you so much...

My wife and I felt the hotel was a little old, tired and a bit smelly, room was not as booked and confirmed, breakfast was ok and it was noisy with the traffic, towels like cardboard, hair balls in shower, sink didn't drain, bed covers needed a good clean, Shame really

There is not a lot to add to all of the glowing reviews. The hospitality is wonderful and the food is excellent. They have thought of so many wonderful details to make the inn feel welcoming. But in the interest of fairness, there are a couple of details that I believe potential guests should know in advance. First - the...
