My wife and I had a great weekend! First time down south in the city. Hope to retire down there someday. Fishing there is great and just a short hop and skip to the keys. Camellia Street Grill is the place to go for dinner!
Very warm welcome on arrival. Great advise on where to go. Amazing location. Look out for the dolphin around 0845 around the mangrove trees. Don't forget the missile spray you will need it. On our trip the score was Mosquitos 2 Humans 0!
This is just the kind of place I was looking for, on our short trip to the Everglades! Certainly not the Ritz Carlton, or even a Comfort Inn (where we frequently stay), but a rustic, spacious, peaceful place! Loved the screened porch overlooking the river!...More

This place has some very good qualities like space, an enclosed porch with a great view of the river and an area to sit and lounge down below by the river. However, I am in my late 60's and I was hoping for nicer surroundings...More

I'm sorry you were not satisfied with the bedding. We really try to make sure everything is clean and neat. I know we need some updating and are trying to get it done as quickly as possible. But you must realize this is the Everglades...More
