We had a great time here. We stayed two nights and did their mangrove tour. Our guide, Corey, was amazing. Super clean rooms and great breakfast. We stayed in the lodge which was very comfortable, but the walls are a little thin.

We stay in the "lodge" and love it. Very clean, historic and friendly. A great breakfast, pool and staff..all for about 100 bucks! The center of boating, hiking and alligators. Special pricing on kayak trips if you stay.

Great advice, good breakfast, quiet and clean, clean clean. Enthusiastic and happy staff, kayak arranged and left from the hotel lobby. Highly recommend, great value. Good location nestled in Everglades City and restaurants walkable after a day birding and kayaking.

We (4 adults) did a boat trip in the early evening and were supported by a cool guide who knows everthing about the plants and the animals in the region. We had 3 canoes and it was really amazing to paddle between alligators across the lakes and through the mangrove swamps. We saw a lot of animals and to paddle...

We stayed for one night at Ivey House before camping in Ten Thousand Islands. The hotel was recommended by Florida Outdoor Adventures for the night before departure. Only rooms in the lodge were available, so the room was quite small and there were shared bathrooms. Everything was clean though and for our purposes, just one night, it was fine. There...

We had an excellent stay at the Ivey House. The rooms and property were immaculate and the staff very attentive. We are very particular about cleanliness and order and this establishment filled the bill. Our experience at the Ivey House evoked memories of "Old Florida." Would recommend to all who are looking for a base from which to explore the...

This friendly place does exactly what it says on the tin. It is not fancy, but it doesn't pretend to be. Rooms are basic, bathrooms are shared (for most rooms) but everything is spotlessly clean and seemed very secure. Generous and varied breakfast included. But the best thing is the helpful attitude of the knowledgeable desk staff with advice on...

We made last minute reservations at Ivey House after deciding at the last minute to leave the Keys and visit the Everglades for the first time. We couldn't have been more pleased with the friendly staff, spacious and clean room, delicious breakfast and affordable price! We decided to stay two nights to take advantage of their recommendations for an airboat...

We stayed for 2 nights. Our room was clean, however, it was infested with tiny ants. I understand that this is not entirely preventable in a tropical climate, and if it was just a few ants in the bathroom, I would not be overly concerned, however, we were not so tolerant of finding ants crawling on the bed and pillow....

There are lots of 1960s-style motels (most renovated) in Everglades City. The Ivey Inn is a cut above and is a welcoming, clean, pleasant place to stay. We were graciously welcomed, given good guidance for local food, museum, Everglades trips, etc. and enjoyed a wonderful paddle trip through the Everglades with their company (located across the street.) We would definitely...
