This was not what I expected from reading reviews on Trip Advisor. We where in unit 5. The bed was very uncomfortable. The air conditioning unit ran in cycles on for 15 seconds, off for about a minute, all night. A lot of road noise. Every time a semi or motorcycle passed by, it sounded like it was coming through...

My family and I stayed in two rooms in the original motel. It is very old, but has a modern day TV. It was clean, but still had a funny smell. The issue that we had was a lack of security. The door knobs turned so far while it was locked that someone could almost open the doors without a...

We really enjoyed our stay in early Dec 2016 at this retro motel. It had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The room was big with a nice t.v., mini fridge, and microwave. The towels were the softest I had ever had at any hotel or motel. The owners are wonderful! They take great care of the place! You...

A very nice surprise. I've stayed at least 6 times this winter. The rooms and bungalows are tastefully decorated, very clean, comfortable and fully equipped. It's also very quiet for a good nights sleep. A excellent bargain for the price. The couple that run the village couldn't be more accommodating.

We spent three days in one of the "cottages" (which are small singlewides) at Carter's Motel and Mobile Village. These were the nicest folks - we asked to add a night and they were very accommodating. The units are priced very reasonably, VERY clean, well-cared for, and were just what we needed for our trip. We were on a budget...

My business associate and I were very surprised with the wonderful accommodations provided by the owners of Carter's. The bungalow we stayed in was immaculate, nicely decorated and extremely quiet. It was like a step back in time to when I traveled with my parents back in the 1960"s. It was very refreshing. It should be a historic land mark...

Very nice management. Very clean room. I felt very safe here. I had gotten a room to give my roommates a night alone for their anniversary. I didn't find one thing wrong with my room. Very quiet and nice people. Had a great experience and if I'm ever down that way again this is where I will stay.
