I did see a couple of pop up tents, but I agree with the wind, it may not stay. The best thing to do is visit one of the many souvenir shops on Scenic Gulf Dr and purchase an umbrella. If I recall they were only $10 which is what you will pay for daily rental. Definitely worth it even if you can't take it with you when you leave.
