Loved our time here that we booked again for a return visit in 2023. It exceeded our expectations - we stayed in the converted red rattler and it had everything we needed and more. The breakfast hampers were so generous and delicious. The beds were comfy and warm during our winter stay. Julie’s afternoon treats were always something to look forward to. Our 5 yr old boy still talks about how much fun he had at “Julie and Kate’s” and asked to go back again. Julie and Kate’s warm hospitality just added to overall excellent experience. Looking forward to being back there in July.

Ba Mack Farmstay was that of dreams and where special memories are made you will remember forever. Julie and Kate made us all feel like family from the moment we arrived. There is everything for kids to make their stay fun and adventure filled. Julie provides so much delicious food and her scones are to die for. The eggs for breakfast picked straight from the coop are the best you’ll eat. For me an animal lover and the soul of a country girl the animals we had the honour of spending our time with made me the happiest woman on earth. Pigs, horses, sheep, ducks, chickens, roosters, cats, birds and even a kangaroo! Any stress felt like a world away. We are already planning our next stay. Thanks again Julie and Kate. You have no idea truly how much this weekend away meant to me and my family.

Ba Mack Farmstay was a wonderful experience for my 8 year old daughter and 13 year old nephew, and for the big kids as well. We stayed in the train carriage which was great fun, especially cooking breakfast and dinner on the BBQ outside. The sunsets were especially beautiful. It was so relaxing we hardly wanted to leave the farm. Farmer Julie and farmer Kate were so warm and friendly and obviously love what they do. Every afternoon delicious homemade treats were even brought to our door!! We got to learn about the farm, feed the animals and ride the horses. My daughter particularly loved dressing up Charlie the Shetland pony as a unicorn!! The dogs were all so friendly and even came on the beautiful walks with us around the property. My daughter still misses cute little Tess who was her favourite. We even managed to drag ourselves away one day for a visit to Mudgee to try some local cheeses, honey and one of the wineries. I asked the kids for a score out of 10 as we left: my nephew gave it a 10 out of 10 and my daughter gave it 10,000! We hope to be back soon.

Amazing family experience. Farmer Julie and Farmer Kate welcome you to their sheep farm with warm smiles and delicious afternoon tea! A great family experience getting to feed baby lambs, go on a horse ride, collect the eggs from the array of chickens, ducks and geese, throw hay to the horses and ride in the cart with Bear the pony pulling you around the house yard. Delicious fresh baked bread can be collected each morning with bacon, fresh eggs, sausages, hash browns and fruit. A kids club is offered in the afternoon including a cooking class with a yummy afternoon tea each day to enjoy (Julie was also very accommodating with her recipes for our coeliac daughter). This is a great place to just get away for a while with no internet or phone reception, loved the old red rattler train carriage as our sleeping quarters making this such a memorable and unique experience. My kids will be talking about this amazing experience for a long time. Thank you Farmer Julie and Farmer Kate.

We love staying at farms, and this is our family's favourite. Farmers' Julie and Kate are wonderfully hospitable, and you truly get to experience the animals on the farm - you get to feed many of them, pet some of them and ride the horses. The kids have things to do all day - and you can even leave them at the farm with Julie and Kate in the afternoon, if the adults want to visit a winery or enjoy a fancy lunch. Well worth a visit!

The break at Ba Mack provides opportunities for interaction with a variety of animals as well as the lovely farmers - Julie & Kate. Hearing rain on the corrugated iron roof is a particular treat when many live in high rise and only have the ceiling below their neighbours. The cooler weather also makes the combustion fire a source of magic. The flames are mesmorising. This is topped off by a local wine, chocolate or honeycomb. A true break from the regular routine.

Second visit and we will be back! Amazing hosts, lovely animals and very relaxing. Julie and Kate provide so much information in advance and make the whole experience an absolute pleasure. We have stayed in both the cottage and the train and both are very homely and comfortable. The animals are so friendly and the animal activities throughout the day are the highlight for kids.

Our families stay at BaMack was outstanding! Farmer Julie and Farmer Kate made us feel very welcome during our stay. The kids got a lot out of it being able to interact so closely with the animals too. We would have absolutely no hesitation recommending!

Julie and Kate are there to provide an authentic farm experience. Their array of farm animals allows you to have many different interactions. From routine domestic pets such as cats, dogs and bird through to pigs, ponies and sheep. The breakfast and afternoon tea provided is a treat including home baked bread and treats. Cannot wait to return in December.
