This was a lovely one night stay. The price was fair given the location. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everything was clean and updated. The good: Very comfortable. Right off of Highway 4 and still very quiet in the room. Pool is a little small, but it gets the job done. Staff are spectacular. Starbucks is a short drive east and isn't very busy before 9am!
Also, this is one of the closest locations to Parks that doesn't charge for parking!!! Sure there is a little drive associated with it, but it actually wasn't that much.
Also, many hotels closer to the attractions also charge a NIGHTLY deposit of $100 for every. night. stay. sure they refund it if you don't use it, but it consumes space on your credit.
This hotel only charges a $100 deposit total, regardless of length of stay.
What you might not know: Hwy 4 always seems to be busy heading north. It seems like it's because of the merge at the next interchange (Championsgate)? However, it isn't as bad as is looks and Google Maps was pretty much spot on with estimating best routes and times to ESPN World of Sports, Universal Orlando, and the airport.
Why not 5 stars: I really like staying at Hampton Inns, but this trip I noticed that they have a sign that apparently is a corporate standard - that they are happy to help with any dietary needs guests may have. But they don't. The breakfast out one day had one item my wife could eat due to food allergies and when we asked staff, they said they don't have other options besides what is out and the sign is just what they have to put on display. So this one star reduction is for Corporate, not the staff/hotel itself.
Corporate: if you aren't going to help the staff accommodate guests, don't put staff in the awkward position of having to deal with that type of situation. It doesn't make us or the staff feel good, and it doesn't help your cause much either.

We stayed 4 days and thoroughly enjoyed our time there! When we arrived we were told that the elevator was being cleaned. Norma took one look at 3 weary seniors (2 in their 90s) and knew that taking the stairs to our room was not an option. She asked if we wanted a room on the first floor, and we answered with a delighted yes! This is just one example of the friendly attentiveness of the personnel at this hotel. Everyone, including Angie and others whose names I forgot to get, always asked if we needed anything and provided it quickly if we did. We were also happy that the room, the lobby, and the breakfast area were all updated and very clean. When we travel, we like rooms that include a mini-fridge, small microwave, and a coffee maker with packets of coffee and tea, and we were pleased that our room had all of these items. In short, it is easy to recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Davenport area!

We found a gem and will not stay anywhere else when we’re visiting Orlando theme parks! We stayed 4 nights and didn’t want to leave! The service was genuinely kind and friendly. The room was spacious and very clean. Housekeeping came every day to clean, even though they still have a notice up in the bathroom that says they will only come if you request it, due to COVID. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet - we could not hear other guests at all! We were so pleasantly surprised! You never know what you’re going to get in that area! The park hotels are so ridiculously overpriced, but staying outside is such a gamble, especially for a reasonably priced room. This hotel has it all. It is conveniently located right off the freeway, with easy access to lots of dining, shopping and even a movie theater minutes away!

I am a business traveler. I stay more than 75 nights a year in hotels. I am a Hilton honors member. While on a recent business trip in an electric car I searched places to charge my vehicle. This hotel came up as an option. Since I am traveling alone & i know these hotels are usually nice, clean & safe I stopped here. I entered the lobby (dressed in business attire), let the desk agent know i was a Hilton member and asked if I could please use their lobby restroom while my car charged. I was told initially no. Then the desk agent asked someone else (presumably the manager). He questioned me that I was charging my car. I replied yes. Then he asked what type of car? I replied. Then asked the color? I replied. I was a little surprised by the questions and the my expression must have seemed shocked. The desk agent rudely asked “you want to use the bathroom or not?” Then proceeded to tell me that normally don’t allow people to use due to vandalism. Seemed pretty offensive to assume i was going to vandalize her lobby bathroom at 1:00 in the afternoon. I found the whole interaction rude and unnecessary .

The Hampton Inn has been recently remodeled and both the rooms and common areas were very clean.
While they have a posted mask wearing policy, it was largely ignored and not enforced. In fact, the manager was not wearing a mask when he checked us in. They have also disabled the online check-in system which we like to use to select a room by the rear stars and then skip the check-in crowd.
An added bonus is the Greenlots charging station which appears to be lightly used.
We'll definitely return, but it's disappointing that a hospitality business is not doing as much as it can to ensure travelers feel safe.

The rooms are the cleanest in the area and the staff is very accommodating. Norma went out of her way to make sure my stay was a pleasure. Fresh hot coffee 24/7 and the cookies taste like grandma made them. Poolside with the family or weightlifting in the gym this place has it all!!!

I am a Diamond Member with Hilton Honors and have stayed at many Hilton properties across the globe. The Davenport location met my expectations. Parking area was sufficient and offered Diamond Club spaces. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Hot beverages and ice cold water were readily available upon check-in and even warm cookies. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. This location did not have smart TVs in the rooms, which was a disappointment. I would have liked to stream a movie to watch. The workout (gym) room was well equipped and everything was in good working condition. The free breakfast offered many choices and was clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this facility.

The staff at this hotel was superb. They were very attentive to anything we needed. We went to do laundry and the machine that sells detergent was empty so I went to ask them to fill it and they gave me some. Rooms were very clean and cleaned daily, breakfast was great and changed daily, pool and fitness room were nice.

Thank you for taking us under consideration for a future stay. We are still under renovations, but its minimal. For the time being the only areas out of service due to renovations is the fitness center and business center. Everything else is available to all guests. We look forward to seeing you soon.
