Hotel on river-- beautiful view but our second story room with balcony had view of palm tree. Very disappointing. Hotel is very old and needs a lot of repairs. Staff is nice. There is bar that is on property that can get quite loud at times.

Rented a 26 foot pontoon boat from Captain Mike's Rentals at the Port Hotel & Marina for a party of 13. Boat's cushions were torn; gate was missing at the back of the boat, which was a serious hazard, and the ladder was dangerously hanging by loose bolts. Also was overcharged from the quote given.

Hotel is VERY OLD. They are not doing any repairs apparently because The Marriott has bought it and will be building a new restaurant and hotel there. Railing are old wood and not up to code, probably because they are grandfathered in. Great location, staff was nice. The guys at the marina were very friendly. The server in the restaurant...

This hotel is literally on the Crystal River: our ground floor room looked out onto it. The rooms are fairly dated but the location makes up for this. The rooms are also joined with a restaurant and bar. My only gripe was that at check-in the lady was not very helpful and didn't try to cross-sell me anything given they...

Look, if you're looking for a modern place with new rooms, this is not the place for you. It's old and dated. But the prices reflect that it's old and dated, and the service is just fine. We had a great time and would go back in a minute. Frankly I'd generally have given this a 4 because it's an...

As my friend & I agreed - this place is old & beyond upgrades. It needs to be torn down & rebuilt. But then we probably wouldn't be able to afford to stay there! The rooms were outdated but clean. Breakfast is a joke. See through coffee & sticky sweets in cellophane. Still, the view of the marina was amazing....

It's old and dated. But I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Love the manatees and the marina rent a boat and cruise for the day. No need to drive anywhere. We return for a vacation every year. We will be back this summer.

Nasty,Nasty,Nasty. Do not waste your money on this place. Deplorable inside and out. Could not even stay there because of the smell and condition but was charged for the room anyway. Needs complete renovations.

Horrible mold smell in every room, in dire need of repair, extremely rude staff and Owner. Complete waste of money. Do not stay here. The last time we tried to stay here they cancelled one of our rooms and would not do anything about it. Front desk clerk was extremely rude. When I asked for the manager's phone number, she...

The location is fantastic. This hotel is very old and needs A LOT of work. It smelled a little musty. They have a restaurant on site (Margarita Breeze) which is very good. Food was delicious, service on the first night was good, the second night was not so good. Great view of the bay. There are boat rentals on the...
