This was our third visit to The Inn. The Inn continues to exceed our expectations. We book The Inn at Cocoa Beach for the convenience of seeing rocket launches. We are usually disappointed in the fact that the rocket launches are often canceled. We are never disappointed in the wonderful time we have staying at The Inn. The hospitality of the staff keeps us coming back. The picture is an amazing storm we drove through while driving to The Inn at Cocoa Beach
Cleanliness is my number one priority when rating a hotel and The Inn at Cocoa Beach exceeded my exceptions in every way. The room, pool area, lobby, and exterior were meticulously maintained. Michael checked my wife and I in and immediately made us feel like valued guests. Top notch "non-scripted" service. Free parking and free use of chairs and towels to take to the beach were added bonuses. Our room was updated, modern, and comfortable and rivaled, even exceeded, more expensive higher-end corporate chains. The property reflects the owner's pride of ownership and we look forward to future stays here. Tip: Ask for a ground level room for even more convenience to the pool and beach.
Great location on the beach in cocoa beach, and one to two blocks to the surfing action and surfing schools (Ron Jons retail shop is also just a block away, and quite a place on its own). We had very nice balcony rooms with plenty of space (Deluxe room?) and the front office staff and housekeeping were very helpful, and dining recommendations were perfect. Easy 20 min drive to get to Kennedy Space Center, which was awesome for anyone from 8 years and up. Only suggestion is to put back the room refrigerators, perhaps taken out due to Covid(?) - would have been very handy in a hot beach location.
From the breakfast, to the wine and cheese, everything was so nice! Our room was classicly decorated and had a very cozy home-like feeling. We loved lounging in and by the pool and the convenient private beach access, with a short walk to the beach. There are lots of restaurants and places to shop/things to do within walking distance. We can’t wait to come over from Orlando and visit again!
My family has been going to the Inn for more than 10 years and we used to like it. But we noticed in our last trip, pre-pandemic, that the guy at the front desk, who has been there forever, was kind of a jerk. My wife called today to ask a question about available accommodations and said he was a real jerk to her. I overheard her and she was being most polite, I don't know what his problem is, but he needs a serious attitude adjustment! Additionally and most importantly, the inn no longer allows children and only offers one bed per room. Since people are not allowed to sleep on the floor, families like ours, with a teenager, can no longer stay. What a shame, and such a fall of a once-nice place.
