owner goes round and loosen all apartment outer lights, saying the bulb has gone.at night all lights are turned off,i f you come back late it is so dangerous to walk by the pool as there is only about 3 ft walkway, no hand rail or anything to hold on to. this is the only way in if you find...

When we arrived at the Golden Villa Motel we were not impressed; the place is old and a bit run down. All hotels and motels with good reviews in Clearwater were fully booked so we didn't have much of a choice and decided to take a look at the apartments. It wasn't that bad; very basic but clean so we...

Very friendly staff. Good price and i love the location. No need for the car, beach was just steps from our room. Pool was very clean and heated (it was 60 outside). Rooms were very clean and stock. We had everything we need (fridge, microwave, utensils) I highly recomended !! Definately going back soon!!

This was what we were looking for in Clearwater Beach. A basic, affordable, mom-and-pop type place. The rooms are very basic (could use some aesthetics updating), but are clean and in good shape. Our room was spacious and included a nice kitchenette. Great location, across the street from the beach. Only negatives were a small (12-inch?) older-model TV, and we...

We stayed in a room, not an apartment, but still had a small kitchen. All the rooms are furnished a bit differently, I think. Check-in is at noon, which was great. Good location, one block from the beach. There isn't a minimum night stay. Nice courtyard and pool for relaxing. Reasonable rates and helpful staff.

I am not a picky traveler, I like old and quaint . The Golden Villa is old and dated by just lack of maintenance. It wasn't really dirty just seemed as if no one cared . I don't understand the good reviews on tripadvisor definitely not worthy. The reviews are why I chose this place so thought I would let...

This place was fabulous!!! Nice, Clean room, easy access parking, cooled off in clean pool, management was friendly and courteous and accommodating. We walked around town everywhere for shopping. Spent a 1/2 day fishing with "Above Average" Charters. Crabby Bill's Restaurant cooked our catch to perfection. Walked across the street to the beach and down a little ways to the...

My wife & I have stayed at Golden Villa Motel several times for wkend. get-a-ways and love it there. The motel staff if friendly, the prices are great, the location is fabulous, the rooms clean, and, best of all, it is American owned & operated! Will come back again for sure!
