I am in love with The Old Carrabelle Hotel Cottage. I stayed 3 weeks! would have stayed longer. Skip and Kathy make sure that everything is comfortable and lovely. They are always available, pleasant and right there for you if you need them. They had a way of being right there while giving me all the privacy I needed. I...

I stayed 2 nights in the flamingo room and really enjoyed the accommodations. Kathy and Skip are great hosts and they made sure we had anything we needed, as well as keeping the rooms and common areas very clean. If you're looking to stay in Carabelle or in a 30-40 miles radius from it, I suggest you get in touch...

The Old Carrabelle Hotel is a beautifully restored, classic turn of the century (~1890 something) guest home. Nicely decorated, well maintained, environmentally controlled rooms made this stay comfortable and memorable. Kathy and Skip are well organized and prepared to manage their guests and keep everything in working order. Our room key was ready for us when we arrived along with...

My wife and I have stayed in many bed and breakfast and The Carrabelle Hotel is a wonderful stop in Northern Florida. We had the opportunity to meet both of the owners and they are very nice people and good host. The hotel was clean and our room was very nice. In essence we have absolutely no complaints against the...

Just one block from the main highway--easy to find--this B & B is extremely laid back. We have felt like we were at a friend's vacation house! This place doesn't try to be grand, and that is refreshing. It's friendly and relaxed.

My husband and I stayed in the Hotel for one evening in May, what a wonderful experience we had. We stayed in the Flamingo Room, it was tastefully decorated and I loved all the "little" touches. Check-in was a breeze and so easy. We had a real sense of security, peace and quiet. The breakfast at 2Al's was an added...

The Old Carrabelle Hotel is old-time Florida at its best. Just returned from a brief stay there and can't wait to go back. It felt like we were on a movie lot where they were filming a period piece from 1880's Florida. The hotel is immaculate and the furnishings in our room were mostly period pieces and were spot on....

My husband and I love staying at the Old Carrabelle Hotel when we are in the area. Check-in is a breeze, as is check-out. There is an "Old Florida" ambiance about The Old Carrabelle Hotel; quiet, laid back, and just plain relaxing. We love sitting on the upper wrap-around porch in the late afternoons enjoying quiet time with a glass...

Gracious living at its best. The Old Carrable Hotel will always be my home away from home. Clean, comfortable, historic, gracious hosts, walking distance to great eateries, and a wrap-around balcony on the second floor that allows you to sit and absorb the history of this wonderful town. 10 star accomodations in my book.

Via Mobile! (--looks Latin--) The mobile road to convenience for all of us--what a difference the "smart" phone has made. We are enjoying a larger and larger portion of our guest reservations from travelers who are already on the way! Not suggested, because we have to say "sorry" frequently, but what a convenience. And convenient to send a review on...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Old Carrabelle Hotel in Carrabelle, Florida is a "Key West style inn on The Forgotten Coast". Once the end-of-the-line railroad hotel, now you may enjoy all the modern comforts in an Old Florida casual atmosphere. There is just something about the experience of a 1900-ish inn at the coast (or a coastal cottage at the coast) that no newer motel-hotel can equal. And we are a very different B&B operation - free beach restaurant breakfasts for Hotel guests, and self check-in -- just for starters. Make your own reservation online, and receive back a confirmation with all the info you may need. Don't Expect: traffic lights, lots of people, McHamburgers, bungee jumps or late-night noise. Do expect: the best seafood, eco-activity opportunities in every direction, cultural/historical activities and a lot of peace and quiet time on the property, in the forest or on the beach or water! ... more   less
