Took my daughter on vacation to Florida and stayed at the Pelican Post for a week. Stayed in Studio #1 and found it to be all we expected! I had booked this room several months ago, I had a few questions in the mean time, all of which were answered quickly and with a friendly attitude. This was my first...

We booked hotel on booking .com. photos on booking .com were not that motel. Old property, not worth the 371.00 for two nights, should be 50.00 a night based on quality and not on beach. But being season they can get away with it. Room had one double bed and a single bed. Wall noisy air conditioning, in what was called...

This property reminded me of the places my family stayed years ago growing up and vacationing on the west coast. It wasn't right on the beach but very convenient to it. We went during spring break but this motel was away from the beaten path…quiet and secluded. It is one block away from Bridge St which is famous for its...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend away. Great rooms, clean and great size. The only down fall is there was no pool on the property but the beach is so close it didn't matter. Walking distance to restaurants, the local bars and the beach.

Booked the suite for my birthday, was with my family (Mom, dad, sister, gf) and the staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was within walk of the motel, I can't wait to go back again! Clean motel, I would recommended it to a family that is looking to get away for the weekend

Reasonably priced, very clean, attractively decorated..Great location: just around the corner from Bridge Street and Bradenton Pier, a few steps further cross Gulf Drive and you are on the beach. Round the corner and over the bridge, you are hanging out on a fishing pier in Cortez eating fresh caught grouper. No need to get in your car..walk, bicycle, or...

Stayed in unit#2, a two bed studio. It was a good value close to the beach , pier and restaurants. Had great water pressure in our shower. Very nice lady in the office. Room was very clean. It is old Florida style with a nice yard area that does include Bar-B-Que grills and chairs to sit under the trees. Only...

This is a nicely refinished older motel that's family owned. There's no pool there's no noise of children in the pool and it's a great place for people who want a quiet place to relax. Its not on the beach but the beach is less than a 5 minute walk away as is the pier on the bay side ....

Our stays at the Pelican Post Motel have never disappointed. Always clean and accommodating. Perfectly situated within walking distance of Bridge Street and all its attractions, the beach and the bay. Perfect reflection of old Florida. We love it.

Great location , and steps to the beach, and to the main area for food and drink. Very quiet, and very clean spacious rooms, fully equipped. Nice comfy bed. I recommend this hotel for those looking for a beach holiday in a non corporate hotel. Beach towels / push bikes available at no cost too.

“We stayed in a very nice room with a separate kitchen/living area with a futon, TV, kitchen table and kitchen. The bedroom was very nice, bed very comfortable but since we like to watch TV in bed, we will opt for the studio next time.”
