This is a nice hotel in a convenient location. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room, bathroom, pool area and proximity to shops and restaurants and especially the relatively low price makes it a good choice. Our room overlooking the pool area was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated being able to open the glass door for fresh air. Overall I would recommend it. there are a few things they could do better. For one, we had a king bed room for 2 people. The bed had 3 pillows, 3 bath towels, 1 hand towel, no washcloths, 1 mini soap and 3 cardboard coffee cups (no water cups). I didn’t understand why 3? Housekeeping was only every other day so if you want more cups, soap, towels, coffee pods, etc., you had to request them. Also, there is no complementary coffee/tea station like almost all other hotels we have stayed at. In the morning there is a long line at the lobby cafe to buy coffee. We had a mini frig in the room but no microwave. We requested a microwave and they brought one to our room right away. that was much appreciated.

I needed to stay a single night in the Boynton Beach area so I chose this hotel because I’m a Bonvoy member. This is a hotel in a shopping plaza, which is a little odd. Checking in was quick and easy and the lady who checked me in was friendly. The property looked decent, but dated. The room I got looked like it was refurbished within the past several years, but was still lacking in outlets and USB charging. The shower floor caulk was stained (yes, this is something I look at, it tells me how well they clean and keep up with the property). Bed was comfy and the HVAC worked great, but was only the louder side. Elevators were horrible, they took a long time, as it appears only one was working, so I used the steps mostly, which wasn’t fun as I was on the top floor.
Overall, it was an adequate stay, but there was no water in the room, nor given to me at check-in. Parking was mixed with people in the shopping plaza or the Buffalo Wild Wings next door, so it got tight. I’d probably stay elsewhere on my next trip to the area.

Good day je1058, Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay with us. I am sorry that your experience was anything less than outstanding. We will certainly address any cleanliness issues as that is not typical of our hotel or the Marriott Brand in general. We just finished up a full renovation to all of our guest rooms, hallways and we also opened up our new fitness center. During your stay we did have one elevator operational as we are also upgrading those as well. We certainly hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back if your travels bring you back to Palm Beach.

Checked in about 9:30 PM. Fast friendly checkin. Was informed that the room would not be cleaned during our 5 night stay. Room had 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel for 2 people for a 5 day stay!! No one answered the housekeeping phone. Went downstairs and waited in line to ask for towels and was told the truck with towels should be arriving soon as they were all out of towels. Went downstairs 2 more times but gave up a little after midnight. We shared the 1 bath towel. The next day I was able to get 1 more towel from the housekeeper. Day 3 we asked for more towels and soap ect and a bag was very nicely hung on our door re-equiping our room.
I can remember when Marriotts gave you extra Bonvoy points for not having house keeping. Not anymore. Covid is a good excuse even if the room occupants have been vaccinated. Earlier reviews indicate the cleaning was good. There was a big red stain on the carpet in front of the refrigerator. No one had tried to clean it because I got some of it up using water only. There was some other trash on the floor indicating that it had not been vacuumed between guests. Photos attached.
The room was very nice, and well equipped. The mattress was a little on the saggy side but still ok. The air-conditioner was continuous and loud and could not cool the room below 75. When we first arrived it was 79 degrees in the room. We had 1 very large roach during our stay. I unplugged the clock as there was a 6 am alarm left on it.
The chairs and tables at the pool were very nice. The pool was excellent. The elevators were responsive and always available.
The pool and friendliness of the staff were highlights of our stay at the hotel.

i had a bad experience at Courtyard Marriott Boynton Beach in October 2022
After checking in at the front desk, I enter the first hotel room I was assigned to which should be a non-smoking room. The room smell was unbearable. It smelled like a smoking room and another stench. I walked back to the front desk and explained that my room was not acceptable to stay in because of the smell of the room. The front desk assigned me another hotel room. As I entered the second hotel room, the bath tub was very dirty. The shower head was moldy. The air conditioning unit filter was full of dust. I went back to the front desk and explained the second room was unacceptable. I requested to be moved to a clean room with no issues. The front desk stated they don’t have any more rooms available. The front desk stated they will issue a refund for the only 1 night instead of both nights but will also clean the room. Even after maintenance came into the room. The room was not acceptably clean. I've stayed at numerous Marriott hotels and other hotels around the world but never experience a hotel in this condition with his poor service. They even charged me for a soda after all that trouble. I received the 1 night stay refund 45 days later. No accommodations for my trouble. A full refund or another room or even another Marriott hotel at the time would have been nice. It would also been nice if a manager from the hotel reached to me to apologies for the horrible stay i experienced that weekend.

I don't know who the people are who rated the place as clean and convenient. Upon arrival you turn into a shopping center and then you make your way to the hotel which has a hidden sign. The location is really not in a great area - sure there are a bunch of chain restaurants around and a busy highway if that's what you want but not me.
Upon entering my room, I immediately noticed the torn run at the entrance. As I looked around even further, I found that my bathroom wasn't that clean - hairs all over the floor and the bathtub. The shower had soap scum on the shower head and spicket. There was obvious mold in the shower, and on the tissue box and around the corners of the bathroom. And the fan register has so much dust it made me want to sneeze just looking at it.
My colleague told me that in his room his carpet was actually wet - yuck!
This is not in keeping of what I consider Marriott standards, I would never suggest anyone stay here until they get their cleaning crew in order and make some much needed updates to the rooms.

The Courtyard by Marriott Boynton Beach was a major disappointment, the room was hot and the AC unit was broken which made the carpet smell moldy and dirty. The management had to replace the AC unit that they knew was broken. Upon further inspection of the room, I found bugs, and stains on the walls and ceiling. The toilet paper dispenser was broken and it looked like there were leaks with water stains near the balcony door and on the ceiling. The bathtub was old and filthy. this is an old property and my family and I would never stay there again. We checked out after one night because we had to stay or lose our money. they also made false charges on my credit cards that I had to fight with Marriott to recover my money.

Experienced Marriott deceptive marriott BonVoy services at check in for the first time she never offered me anything checking in (marriott me guarantee) As a long time a member with Platinum Elite status, never asked for been a member or anything at member need to know etc etc , I had very bad experience with that Courtyard Boynton beach it’s first time but definitely never back again Room it’s very older , room has not really great view or nice balcony, very duty property and also room has Not bottles water available in the room like usually marriott has , has coffee maker small one and not bottle water ??? Rooms has not Face mirror and all amenities bathrooms very older and also room has not glasses to drink not glasses in the room and not at the bathroom, definitely that property it’s like Motel 6 , I select that property but was very wrong . Towneplace in the same neighborhood definitely it’s most better . This is a very frustrating experience stay at that property, services at check in and how properly look , never see in the hospitality industry , I saw many employees around make me feel unwelcoming .I concern about if that it’s Marriott brand or franchise i don’t know but definitely it’s not Marriot. We stayed here one night before our flight. Nice, clean property. Alex checked us in- very personable. As Titanium Elite members we chose the $ credit which we used towards breakfast the next morning. I liked that breakfast is served until 11…..just like in Europe 👍🏻. We were able to hang out by the very nice pool before we left. Parking was ample. We will stay here again

No redeeming features. A second rate hotel, not worthy of the Marriott brand. Bed was comfortable, but pillows seemed they were from salvation army. One pillow didn’t even have a pillow cover. Furniture is old, outdated and worn. No shower mat. The TV turned itself off several times. I had a ground level room that smelled of humidity and stale air. The whole floor was like that. Room opened out to an empty parking lot, which made me concerned about my safety. Room was not made up during my three night stay. When I asked a cleaning person I met in the hallway, she said I need to ask for cleaning at the front desk. But nothing was said at time of check in. Lousy service which is justified by Covid safety measures, yet no one was wearing a mask. The hotel desperately needs a makeover, including staff.

I stayed at the hotel for a few nights and met some family members there. From the moment we arrived to our entire stay, the entire staff were very pleasant, accommodating, and even gave us some advice on some places to go for dinner in the area. I was a little concerned because the other reviews stated that it’s an older hotel, but it was clean and the staff by far far made up for the age of the hotel. We will definitely stay there the next time we are in town.

Not sure when you were there and had this issue. However, my son is a General Manager at a Marriott hotel in Savannah and it is Marriott policy that if a room is found to have an infestation of bed bugs, the room is immediately fumigated as well as the guests personal belongings being dry cleaned, washed and suitcases fumigated as well. Bed bugs do not spread from room to room because whatever guest brought them in most likely only stayed in that one room. Housekeepers are trained to watch for and report any sign of bed bugs. The cleanest hotel in the world can have a room infested by one guest. Hope this helps answer your question about bed bugs. Have a great day!
I am not sure when the bed bug situation occurred.. I apologize if that information was available to me. When I travelled to this hotel in August/2017, they were actually throwing out all the old beds and buying/installing, new ones. My guess is any bed bug issues were address with the new mattresses. The hotel, as a whole, was undergoing renovations, and I was very happy to see the beds being replaced.
There are more places to choose from in the Boynton Beach area.
