Beware.....the accomodations are spartan. Half of the room had insufficient lighting. Literally no lights over the closet space or mirror space. Breakfast was typical pre-fab flavorless.
The worst was the deposit scam. They charge $250 on your credit card for incidentials which was promised to be repaid upon checkout. Also, they don't give you a paper reciept upon checkout. They say "I just mailed you receipt to your email and your card was credited with a refund". Neither of which happened. I am still fighting with them to refund my $250. They will give escuses like..."Oh it takes several days for the refund to be processed." Yet, the $250 charge goes on your account on the day you check in....i guess it doesnt take several days for that. Seems like a nice money float they got going there.

The staff that checked me in Aug 21 -22 (it was after midnight ) was awesome. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast being included is a plus. The person in charge for the breakfast should make sure it’s replenished more often. There was a lot of loud banking, electrical sawing etc starting in the very early morning (6/7am) hours for 3-4 days straight. After the 2nd day a sign was placed after my brother complained. I met another guest who had the same noise complaint as well. This construction work should have been done in the afternoon.

Our family booked 4 rooms here for a funeral. We were not familiar with the area but could not have picked a better location. Behind the hotel there are numerous stores, restaurants and a bakery that you can walk to. Nearby is a supermarket and bowling alley. The room had ants in the bathroom sink. We did not see them after the first day. The room was spacious and overall clean. The breakfast area had many options but many were high carb choices such as bagels, donuts and cereals. There is a coffee, tea and hot chocolate station in the lobby. However, after a long day I went to make a cup tea and there was no water. I waited for 20 minutes at the front desk and had to go behind the counter to find a staff member. The lady on duty was on her cell phone and annoyed to be interrupted. I told her that there were 3 other customers waiting at the desk for service. She was RUDE and told me I had to wait until the next day for housekeeping to refill the water. All other staff members were courteous. If you are a light sleeper this may not be the place for you because you can hear all chatter in the hallways as early as 6 am.

If you are visiting Boynton Beach, this hotel is a good choice. The lobby and reception area are welcoming. We immediately noticed the bright and well-maintained lounge/breakfast area. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast offerings were varied with cereals, pastries, fruits, and some hot protein choices. The serving area was well monitored and food refilled frequently. The one area that seemed to be an issue was the ability for the rooms to be serviced in a timely manner. The number of people cleaning the rooms does not seem to be enough. We were unable to check in to a room until 4:00 PM. The next day we were out of the room all day. When we returned the room at 5:00 PM our room had not yet been serviced. Because it was so late, we just chose to get clean towels and skip the service.

This was by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed at! Management treated us awful! We had to wait an hour to get checked in. We stood for an hour and after finally being seen they tell us we have to pay a deposit and they don't know when we will get it back. 3-5 days at the most. They charged our card when they were not even supposed to until we were at the property. We stayed one night and in all our card was charged over $600. Other people who checked in before us were only paying around 250 or under and the entire hour we stood there the rude man at check in did not tell any of them about the $250 nor did they get charged for it! We watched him check in 10 people before us and not one of them were told about the fee. The worst part is the next morning we come down for breakfast and there was not any! NO FOOD! $600 for one night with breakfast included and no breakfast at all!!!! So we got over charged for a crappy room and to be treated poorly and then the breakfast that was supposed to be included wasn't even served. the front desk said the cooks just didn't show. Poor hotel. Poor management.

This hotel says it takes cleanliness seriously, however one of our rooms had live ants all around the air conditioner, the other had a 100+ dead bugs in the window area. One room the toilet wouldn’t stop running and clock was not set correctly. Front desk staff response to these issues were “ we are short staffed and we will try to get to it”. We needed to be rather assertive to get the issues resolved. No other rooms available.
At checkin no one told us we needed to ask for full service, other wise they just put towels on a bar. Even after asking for full service, they didn’t make beds, bring in any cups (after they threw the others away), or vacuum the rooms. When asking for some glasses they said that it was a housekeeping issue and she was front desk, after complaining she went in the back and found a couple.
Breakfast was a joke, once items were gone they didn’t put any more out. On Sunday they didn’t have breakfast at all, reason: the breakfast attendant didn’t show up, snd no one else could do it. Coffee was from the day before. No manager available until January 4th, after our departure.
The staff could care less about the guests, always said it was someone else’s issue ant their apologies were less than sincere. Overpriced, poor service and not clean. I would never stay here again or recommend it.

This is easily one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. My family and I stayed for three nights in two rooms. The carpet in the hallways and rooms is dirty. Both rooms were inhabited by ants. One had numerous dead ants along the window sill, and the other had about fifty live ants crawling along the air conditioner and entire wall. The best they could do was spray the area. Another room was not available at the time as the hotel was sold out. Although the ants did die, housekeeping did not vacuum the floor, so dead ants littered the floor throughout the rest of the stay. One of the rooms also had a faulty toilet.
Housekeeping was problematic as well. No housekeeping was performed the first night. Only new towels were laid out. Upon inquiry, the front desk noted that housekeeping is only performed upon request. This was not communicated whatsoever upon check in, which would have prevented the confusion and annoyance. I requested full housekeeping for the other two days. The bathroom was cleaned but the bed was not made nor any vacuuming done (see dead ants above).
Some of the front desk workers were shockingly awful. After requesting the toilet get fixed and the ants addressed, two younger staff stated they were busy and weren’t sure if they could even get to it in 24 hours. This was overheard by a manager of some sort, who addressed these issues fairly quickly. Additionally, in a separate inquiry regarding the housekeeping, the front desk staff stated she didn’t have anything to do with housekeeping and couldn’t do anything about it. A simple phone call to housekeeping would have sufficed. So lazy and rude! Management seemed to be the only workers that would get anything done.
Needless to stay, we’ll never stay here again and would recommend that anyone considering a stay in this area find accommodations elsewhere.

This review is pertaining to the Holiday Inn in Boynton Beach, Florida on 4/23/2021 - 4/25/2021. We were greatly disappointed and disgusted with the dirt and poor overall standard in this hotel. The room had poor lighting and as a handicapped person made it awfully hard to maneuver and feel safe within the room. The rugs within the room were extremely stained to the visible eye even with the dimmed lighting. The linen on the beds also were stained and had an extreme damp smell. By the front door there was strange marking that is unidentifiable which make me and my family uncomfortable. When asked about the dirty room the night of check in we were told it was due to COVID that they can not clean the room every day which we were understanding to that we know the sheets were not going to be changed but the room required intense cleaning more than a daily upkeep. We were never given the opportunity to change room. The furniture in the room was badly stained. Upon check out we complained to the desk clerk who gave us false information. She became rude and the manager told us to get the Fu## out of his hotel. They did not care and lacked empathy and customer service. This hotel being only 5 years old is despicable and Holiday Inn Corporation should be ashamed. Will never stay there and would not recommend to anyone. Please beware.

I have never stayed at a worse hotel. The manager, "Erik" was rude, unprofessional and threatening. The breakfast was sparse, promised fruit which never came. Told that pancakes are a hit and miss. Tables were dirty and unsanitary. The room was dark and the beds and pillows uncomfortable. Booked 2 queen beds but beds were "full" and staff lied, one said all beds are "full", another said they were all "queen" size, which is it?? Definitely not queen!! The pool area was shuttered, management said for "inspection". Nothing said on website or at check in. The staff was uncooperative, a lot of noise in hotel, the staff couldn't care less.
I would rather sleep in my car than stay at this hotel. They treat their guests like dirt!! DON'T STAY HERE!!!!

Came to town for a funeral booked a king room for a couple days and had nothing but problems. Room never got cooler than 85 degrees informed hotel management and instead of fixing the problem informed me that he was the new GM (Richie) and that all the problems were a result of the past GM. How does this matter to me? I just want my air to work. So then I come to him after trying to make a cup of coffee and I go to put the pod in the Keurig and ants are pouring out. The room is infested. Once again manager does nothing offers me 3000 points on my ihg account claimed it would get me a free night for that amount. I went to the app and cheapest room I could find was 10000 pts so he lied to me. Checked out this morning and during whole trip no one ever came to room to address ants or AC. Horrible customer service steer clear of this dump.
