We really enjoyed Bahia Honda! The snorkeling was fun and beautiful. It is a must stop while visiting the Keys. Although we where not camping, we checked them out for the future and loved the spots. The park was well maintained.

We loved the campground. Beaches were beautiful. It was like Paradise. Just wish it wasn't so hard to book a site. We lucked out and got two spots about 3 months before we went. With our work schedules it can be hard to do last...More

Ive stayed at this campground three years in a row and loved each stay. The sites are right on the bay side or if you have a tent on the Atlantic side. Both are well taken care of and both offer spectacular views of the...More

This beach is so beautiful. It has a wonderful shop that will prepare you fresh sandwiches or an ice cream cone at the end of a fun day of snorkeling. Rentals are cheap and you get to keep the branded snorkel as a souvenir.

We always save one day for Bahai Honda. We pack a lunch and float around on the gulf side. Usually snorkel a bit and read on the beach. Yes it's small and not the same as beaches in NJ but it's beautiful and unique. Love...More

It is a long walk in the hot weather. I would suggest driving. We drove to the beach from buttonwood area because of all of our chairs, sun shelter, etc.

It is hot but the water is there to cool off in. As far as the tent there are battery operated fans you can buy to put in the tent. Its beautiful and very worth a visit!!
