We got the first room on the left side. The rooms are very clean and smooth! Bathroom was good, too. The stuff grilled some chicken on a fire at the long end of the area. We stayed 4 nights... The staff is new and the management is very friendly - they had problems in the past. But they made their... More

Me and and a friend stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it here. You are surrounded by rice fields, a monkey forest and waterfalls which the staff are happy to guide you for (for a price of course). Guides were excellent, very friendly and pretty informative. One even invited us to his house for coffee and snacks after showing... More

Really helpful and friendly staff!! Had a great guide called Sandy who was amazing. Beautiful setting and they are so happy to show you around it, even in Ramadan. Great value rooms and restaurant which has good food.

My friend and i (from Holland) booked a hiking Trip through the monkey forest, rice fields, village where they grow herbs, waterfall and we have also seen how the women make Sarongs. It was really really interesting and we had a lot of fun! We met many locals, talked and learned from them. They showed us for example how to... More

Tete Batu is a village in the subdistrict of Sikur, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. One beauty of scenery at the foot of Mount Rinjani contained in Tete Batu village which has a panoramic view of the mountains and rice fields are very beautiful. Because of its beauty, Tete Batu serve as a tourist village by the Government of... More

A beautiful view of Rinjani to the north and a picturesque rural neighbourhood for walks. However, the male staff do little to maintain the place during the day. The guest facilities are neglected. The guest room was dirty, damp & mouldy. No cross ventilation. The guard dog defecated in the planter outside the window. Showers didn't work. Muslim prayers at... More

The place was empty when we were there. We were promised a warm shower, and he showed us indeed a shower with a blue and red sight... however, both gave us cold water. It was very moisturized in the rooms, especially during night (even a bit cold). The food in the restaurant was not good at all (it was a... More

How is telling the truth? Hard to know… Getting here from Mataram was quite of a challenge. Everybody are yelling go there, do that! It’s really annoying, and nobody speaks the truth. So we started from Mataram,. Argued about the price like 30 minutes and after that we were on our way to Tetebatu. At least we thought. We were... More

The food was good, average price on the room. There are a lot of other places in the area. Unfortunately we had a room in the front. The first night staff woke us up talking by the front gate. The second night two or three young men (friends of staff?) came in after midnight, talking very loudly in the room... More

Contrary to what The Rough Guide states, we found this place hardly recommendable. The rooms are not modern, nor are the views great. The owner is 'friendly' yes, but also has a keen eye for your wallet. The rooms: it's stated that there's hot water. However, in our room there wasn't even cold water from the shower, let alone hot... More
