We stayed two nights (Memorial Day weekend) at the delightful Little Creek Inn, which lies at the end of a shady lane off a quiet country road, buried deep in vast fields of golden wheat. Our sociable hosts Carol and Bobby could not have been more welcoming. Their two labradors (father and son) were just as eager to greet guests... More

The inn is beautifully furnished due to the owner Carol being a former decorator who knows her stuff. Bob is a talented chef who can make extremely wonderful meals. With all these positives comes a potentially difficult situation that we encountered... The dynamics between our hosts made for a difficult stay. Although this was not aimed at us, it made... More

We choose a Bed & Breakfast over a hotel for the personal energy of bon vivant hosts who love sharing stories and their great inn. We chose Dover, Delaware for its Dover Days--a small, pretty city having its 76th annual history festival and parade weekend - let's go! For the lodging, we researched our favorite books and websites (including, of... More

The Inn is quite lovely and decorated in good taste. Bob and Carol were very good hosts. Bob is quite the character. We had room 1 which is the blue room. I loved the room. It is very spacious. The linens on the bed were fantastic. In the morning I had a difficult time deciding whether to lounge in bed... More

I have to share a great experience with you- definitely the best weekend trip we’ve ever had! My husband and I, along with some family, took a fabulous trip to a hidden treasure of an inn located in Dover, DE. At a comfortable hour a half’s drive from our home, Little Creek Inn Bed & Breakfast run by pseudo-retirees Bob... More

My husband took me here for my Birthday and it was a great choice! Our hosts Carol and Bob welcomed us with great enthusiasm and wonderful scents as he is a very good chef and was preparing for an OctoberFest party they were hosting the following day. We had a room on the top floor. The grand darkwood staircase really... More
