This was my 3rd visit to Crown Cottage and certainly won't be the last. It is absolutely first class, spotlessly clean, good, home-cooked breakfast, nothing is too much trouble for Liz, the owner. It makes for a very good base for visiting the surrounding area. There are some great pubs and a very good Italian restaurant in nearby Skipton. The...

We chose this place from Farm stay uk and was not disappointed. Lovely room and amazing views. Fresh milk in the room is a bonus and a lovely breakfast. Splendid views. In a lovely quiet location. An enjoyable stay

We stayed one night as we were going to see Katherine Jenkins at Bolton Abbey. From booking Liz was really helpful, sending us details of a local taxi firm to take us to the venue. The B&B itself is very tastefully decorated, lovely homely feel, and furnished to a good standard. We had a double en-suite, which has wonderful views...

A great place to stay. A quiet and peaceful location, with views to die for. A very friendly welcome from Liz, a shed to lock our bikes away safely, tea/coffee/chocolate and home made cake in the rooms, and a little fridge with fresh milk and chilled water .... and the breakfast - fruit and fruit juices, cereals, porage, full Yorkshire...

Sometimes less is more. For this review I won't say much as there is no need. This is an excellent, small, friendly low-key b & B. great breakfast. good location near anough to Skipton and the main road, but very quiet. Good for walks, listening to sheep, accessing the Dales. Enough said.

From the moment we stepped out of the car, peace and quiet was assured. A warm welcome awaited us with fresh Welsh cakes and a hostess who made nothing seem like too much trouble. A wonderful breakfast

I can't speak highly enough of the place. I had to attend a training course in the village of Embsay and I was worried about what local amenities there would be available whilst I was there. Crown Cottage Farm more than had me covered. There's free wi-fi, a highly varied (and delicious!) breakfast every morning and a substantial packed lunch...

Wonderfully comfortable B&B and lovely owner. Excellent breakfasts, with an added option of pack lunches for the busy explorer. Close links to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, Skipton, Bolton Abbey etc., with an abundance of walks/ hikes for all abilities.

This was really a lovely place to stay, a very warm welcome, very clean, wonderful views, quiet and fantastic breakfast. Separate lounge for anyone staying with television and log burner, extremely cosy and warm. Nothing was too much trouble, wished we could have stayed longer.
