We unfortunately stayed only 1 night here at this very lovely B&B. The Innkeepers, Brenda and Kevin were very hospitable. The morning breakfast was hearty and delicious! We had a wonderful room with lots of windows for the evening cool breezes, though they have a/c units in each room. There is also private bathrooms for each room. Brenda makes the...

My partner and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in the Quiet Corner of CT and so thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Taylor's Corner. The owners Brenda and Kevin keep the inn immaculately clean, are accommodating and knowledgable hosts, are interesting to talk to, and serve one of the tastiest breakfasts I've had. They made me feel like a welcome guest,...

Take it slow at Taylor's Corner in woodsy Woodstock or you will miss this old wonderful B&B run by Brenda and Kevin. Brenda's sweet nature is the perfect complement to this nearly 300 year old home. You feel that you are living in another era. The rooms carry the motif of this old inn wonderfully. The breakfasts are delicious and...

This was our second Valentine’s Day weekend in the Quiet Corner of Connecticut. Staying at the Taylor’s Corner Bed and Breakfast is something we look forward to all year. This is a 1731 farm house with all the charm and idiosyncrasies of a 280 year old house. It creaks and moans with the wind. The wide plank floors do the...

Brenda greeted us upon arrival and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. She gave us a tour of the house and showed us to our room. She and Kevin joined us the next day for breakfast (which she made, it was excellent) and we had great conversation. Brenda also gave us great recommendations for dinner. We...

My husband and I just spent the week at Taylor's Corner while attending the Brimfield Antique show -- Brenda and Kevin couldn't have been more gracious!!!! Brenda gave us helpful directions and hints for navigating the area and show. The B & B was charming and the food was delicious! We hope to visit one day again!

We have been staying at Taylors Corner for over 10 years because we have family in the area. Brenda and Kevin have always been very welcoming and we feel like old friends now. The people we meet at the breakfast table are always interesting, and the breakfast itself is always over the top. A good value, too.

We were invited to a wedding at the Lord Thompson Manor - but didn't feel like staying at the chain hotel the couple had a block of rooms at. We found a review of Taylor's Corner and thoguht about giving it a whirl. GLAD...

Brenda and Kevin provided a wonderful Valentines weekend for us and our friends. We decided to take all three of the rooms as part of a weekend wine tasting and dinner excursion. The house is delightfully old with that New Englad historic character we were looking for. Flowers and home made chocolates waited for us in the rooms. It was...

My husband and I stayed at Taylor's Corner while in Connecticut for a wedding in May. Being somewhat shy and avoiding anything stuffy, we typically avoid B&Bs. That said, when it came to coming to this part of Connecticut for a wedding, we wound up choosing Taylor's Corner over a chain motel, and it was the right choice. The owners...

“This is a 1700's farm house. Nothing is level, there are no acoustics, everything squeaks. The best views overlook the rolling farm land away from the road, not that there is much traffic anyway.”
