In July 2016, we stayed at the bucolic and historic Taylor’s Corner B & to attend the Brimfield Antiques Show. This inn could not have been more perfect. Brenda warmly welcomed us and showed us around. Our room had an en suite bathroom, as do all of the rooms. Despite the age of the home, everything is incredibly clean so...

Quiet, homey, and very relaxing. Fun to stay in an authentic 1700's building with comfy beds and fireplaces, and wake to a wonderful breakfast, then wander the garden and listen to the birds. I come here any chance I get.

Our tour of historic New England took an incredible turn for the better when we made this corner! I have to admit I was nervous that my traveling companion might be shocked to see what I had booked for this Autumn Sunday night. A real farm house from back in the day. Not a fine Victorian home or a stately...

Went there with my spouse after a nearby wedding. It was so great to be welcomed by Kevin at the door and shown around the amazing old house filled with really cool antiques. We enjoyed homemade cookies when we arrived late in the evening before heading up to our room. The queen bed was extreeemely comfortable and we had a...

My boyfriend and I spent the night here last night. We had the most amazing experience. Brenda and Kevin were so welcoming and their B&B is absolutely beautiful. We joined some friends of ours, had a campfire, and sipped on some wine from the vineyard next door. The atmosphere and company made for an excellent sporadic night away.

You can see from our previous reviews that we love staying with Brenda and Kevin. Unfortunately we also always bring a blizzard for excitement. This was no exception. Two, three, four feet of snow - who's counting. We came up Friday and were not sure we would get home on Sunday. No worry. We sat by one of the many...

Oh my goodness, our first "Autumn in New England" trip was wonderfully enhanced by our five night stay with Brenda and Kevin at the B&B at Taylor's Corner. Being Southerners, we know a thing our two about hospitality - it's top notch here! Accommodations were warm and welcoming, all details were considered right down to homemade cookies upon arrival and...

We came to the quiet corner of CT to do some family history research. The Taylor B and B is an authentic 1730's farmhouse in Woodstock for an unusual historic experience. The fireplace in your bedroom was at one time the only source of heat ! Brenda and Kevin are great people, world travelers and marvelous conversationalists. Her family hails from...

We booked a year in advance and should have known the snow would catch up to us. WE LOVE IT. Brenda and Kevin took such good care of us. We sat and read by the fire, wandered into the kitchen and just unwound. Breakfasts are substantial and so imaginative. We spent three hours at the table with friends talking and...

We spent one night enjoying this lovely area of Connecticut. Our hosts, Brenda and Kevin, were informative, attentive, and we enjoyed chatting with them about their travels. Freshly baked cookies await your arrival; hot tea/coffee is available in the evening. Brenda prepared a wonderful hot breakfast. Mary, Queen of Scots, is their friendly indoor kitty which we thoroughly enjoyed petting....

“This is a 1700's farm house. Nothing is level, there are no acoustics, everything squeaks. The best views overlook the rolling farm land away from the road, not that there is much traffic anyway.”
