This beautiful old Inn is spectacular!! I visited Torrington CT for 3 nights and stayed at the Yankee Peddler Inn my entire stay. The employees are soo friendly it made me never want to leave. Decor is rich with history, and the rooms were very clean. Owner is very down to earth and very accommodating. When I travel back to...

I am staying at The Yankee Pedlar Inn tonight with my four year old daughter and newborn son... I love how it really looks like we've been transported back to 1891. The antique furniture and old elevator are wonderful. Unfortunately, the bed is covered in long black hairs and I had to chase a centipede down with my daughter's shoe!...

We stayed here for three nights after enduring three previous nights at our home without electricity, heat, water, etc due to Hurricane Sandy, I was a little nervous about what we would experience based upon some reviews I had read, but was pleasantly surprised. Our room was better than I had expected for the price. It was clean, warm, had a nice...

Every year for the past few years, we stay in late October to go to the midnight show at the theater across the street, how convenient. We have dinner and spend time at the bar every time we go. The antiques are beautiful, the staff in the hotel and in the restaurant/bar are the best. We were there during the...

We stayed here after a wedding last year. If you are looking for a historic hotel then this is it. From the second you walk into the lobby you feel like your transported back in time. However, because of this everything is very old. But very interesting, I would love to go back and particiapte in some of the haunting...

We stayed one night while we were passing through the area. The room was fine. We got the last nonsmoking room, twin and full sized bed. The room was clean, linens were a bit thin but again clean. The highlight of the room was the bathroom, big and clean with some antique fixtures and plenty of hot water. The price...

Mold in bathroom everywhere!! The walls were paper thin, impossible to get a good night sleep, and it was smelly. However, the Yankee Pedlar is the best hotel that in Torrington,Connecticut. So, stay outside of Torrington!!

One hundred years ago, this hotel must have been something to see, but time has taken its toll on this grand hotel . The hotel is in need of a major overhaul . The staff was very friendly. The room was clean except for the clothes we found in the closet. Based on the other reviews of hotels from Trip...

The rooms were ok, not great. The restaurant was not very good and boring. The inside of the hotel was interesting, lots of antiques. As far as the price? Very reasonable to be right downtown. Parking lot scared me. Very small and can be hard to get out of if people dont park properly. There is a huge hill off...
