beautiful inn on the water is just stunning. the rooms are very beautiful new england style with fireplace and sleigh bed, which is most comfortable. clean to the max, the bathroom has a jetted tub as well as shower. a first class inn.
We stayed in Room 6 which is on the street side on the corner next to the driveway and also on the main stairway end (2nd floor). I booked late so took what was offered, but I would ask about the location of the room...More
This place is like going to visit friends with a really nice view!! All those who work there were so wonderful. They gave us info on all the local restaurants and interesting things to check out. The only bummer for us was there was no...More
The Inn was a wonderful surprise. They made you feel like family. Gracious and hospitable. Our room was spacious and charming. A fireplace added to the ambience and heavy drapes made it possible to block the morning light. This was our first time visiting Connecticut,...More

This is so fun to see and wonderful to hear. Didn't we have so much fun with Alexandra. We are all still talking about it. It was wonderful to have the both of you visiting us and can't wait to catch up when you return.

They also serve fresh fruit. We had plenty to eat but we don't do big breakfasts. Parking is shared behind the inn with the restaurant. One night we came back from a day trip and the parking lot was full so we had to do street parking and move our car later in the evening. Too bad they don't have designated spots close to the inn. There is a very large parking lot next door but it is reserved for condos and you may get towed. Noah's was very good. So is Dog Watch and the new Dog Watch BBQ on the way to Mystic. Breakwater restaurant behind the inn is very good too. They had my favorite lobster roll. The inside is beautiful and you can eat outside and enjoy the water too. Can't eat outside at Dog Watch which is too bad.
