This bed and breakfast was a wonderful surprise for my wife. We were celebrating our first anniversary. The country-style farmhouse was absolutely beautiful inside with the original wood floors and railings. (Chestnut I believe) The Inn Keepers, Christine and Ed, were very polite and provided everything that you could want. The screened-from-view pool area was a perfect treat and the...

We loved the fresh well water, the lovely lawn, the fresh country air. Breakfast was excellent! Made-to-order eggs and a lot of fresh fruit and local yogurt. The house is gorgeous and clean. The hosts were super sweet. The sheets were incredibly soft and the bed like a cloud. We slept like logs. It was excellent!

Warm, friendly proprietors... went above and beyond to make sure my family was happy, comfortable, and safe! Lovely attention paid to details to ensure a great trip with our 2.5 year old daughter, including a rollaway bed with a bedrail and a booster chair at our wonderful breakfast. Pool, lawn, and garden are all lovely. Should we be anywhere in...

This was our second stay at the Cornucopia and it already feels like home! Ed & Christine are marvelous hosts. Their inn is a Connecticut classic: smooth old wooden plank floors, hand-stitched quilts, bright, airy rooms, rolling green backyard (and yes! a paddock nearby!). Christine serves up yummy breakfasts every day. This time, we had the added treat of hosting...

Very clean and quiet. We rented the suite with our 3 year old daughter. The accomadations were perfect (ver large room). Christine and Ed made special accomidations for our daughter and and we were not made to feel awkward with a toddler in the house even when she spilled her milk at breakfast! I was participating in a triathlon that...

I have stayed in many B&Bs, and this was one of the best! The innkeepers are very friendly and willing to help make reservations and suggestions of things to do. The breakfast was amazing, and you could also help yourself to drinks and snacks. I would definitely stay here again!
