A charming, clean, friendly place in a lovely country setting. Close to many CT attractions. The proprietor is wonderfully down to earth and cooks an amazing breakfast! Highly recommended! The grounds are planted with herbs and flowers. Chickens are kept which provide fresh eggs for the house. The pet cat will beg to come into your room for some petting....

Though the weather outside was cold and very windy, inside it was warm and cozy. We were welcomed with tea and scones. Our room had a very comfortable bed and nice sitting area and private bathroom. The house was built in 1720, is well maintained and still retains much of its original architecture. We could really feel what it must...

For sure the weather has been windy... and lots of sticks and a few trees have come down, providing me with much tinder for those morning fires in the Tea Room! Happy Anniversary.... please come again to sit in my Gardens!

This B&B offers the complete package. It is a 300 year-old home, nicely furnished with antiques. Our large room had a big four-poster bed and a fireplace. Breakfast was delicious and Gail, our host, was charming. Just about perfect! One caveat: This is not a good site for those with mobility issues. The house is reached by an irregular stone...

Its crazy to think that this house and the grounds with the surrounding stonewalls could possibly have been built 300 years ago by mans own two hands. The massive stone over the cooking fireplace is impressive, but wow how in the heck did they get that up there? The stonewalls that surround the property are called a "Ha Ha" an...

You cannot write a review of this great B&B without first talking about the owner, Gail. I don't think you could find a friendlier, more conscientious host. When staying in a B&B, it is important that you feel comfortable with the owner almost immediately and, Gail made us feel right at home. She took the time to show us the...

If you thought the floors looked good a couple of days ago... you should see them now! Gave them a good cleaning and polishing! What I love best about the floors in that room is you can feel with your feet the wear of many thousand of steps in the last 300 years! My hens eggs are super super good...

My husband and I stayed at Roseledge for 2 nights. This was my first experience at a B&B, and it certainly won't be my last. Gail is an extraordinary hostess, making each guest feel welcome and special. Our room was equipped with everything for a perfect stay. Breakfast was delicious both mornings. The home is beautifully maintained, with much of...

Gail was a welcoming hostess. The house itself was very charming and quaint. The rooms were clean and well-kept and the fireplace in the bedroom was so peaceful. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fully stocked. We spent a lovely evening for our anniversary and the breakfast served by Gail the next morning was just delicious.

Anniversary's are so special I am glad I was able to provide the setting to make yours memorable. Breakfasts here at the farm start with eggs from the my girls, does it get better then that?

Spending time with each other is so important and I am glad you were able to "run away" for a short time! In a house as old as this, six working fireplaces, its all about cozy!

Enjoyed a quiet and relaxing Sunday night stay at Roseledge with my daughter. Gail was a gracious hostess and made us feel welcome and comfy in this lovely , historic home. A delicious breakfast awaited us prior to our departure and was served in the dining room by a nice, crackling fire. Thanks so much, Gail!

My husband and I stayed at the Roseledge Inn when attending Fall Weekend at nearby Connecticut College over Columbus Day weekend. The historic farmhouse offered comfortable and cozy lodging. We also enjoyed two delicious, homemade breakfast prepared by the innkeeper Gail. A beautiful Inn that is a wonderful respite from the hustle and bustle of city life.
