My husband and I stayed here in the fall on our wedding night and the following night. We're actually from the area, but this was the perfect place to just relax and enjoy some quiet time together. We stayed in a room in the Carriage House, which is only a very short walk to the main house. Our room was...

My wife and I spent 2 nights here and couldn't have been happier with it. It's a lovely, comfortable Inn with many amenities and open access to the kitchen with the various goodies provided there. Michael is an outstanding, conscientious innkeeper and his breakfasts were delicious. Old Mystic is actually about 3 miles from Mystic which means that you can't...

My husband and I had only booked for 1 night -- what a mistake! What a lovely B&B and a terrific host. Our room -- the Melville was spacious and quiet. The whole house is a treat for the eye.And the grounds immaculate. After the hustle and bustle of Boston, this was a wonderful quiet retreat. Breakfast was lovely --...

Old Mystic is just a couple miles from all the activities in Mystic, yet takes you back in time. The house has all the look and feel of a simpler time, with all the modern touches. Just sitting out in the gazebo is peaceful. We stayed 4 nights in a Carriage House room, but checked out rooms in the main...

As always, Michael, our Innkeeper, and his staff, Robert & Cheri, were amazing. They make us feel as if we're part of the family. We stayed in the Robert Frost Room, our favorite!!!! It sits in the corner of the cottage house and you never hear a sound. Our breakfast, as before, first class!!!! Michael, is an amazing chef. Wish...

We stayed one night in late July and had a wonderful time. Very accessible to downtown Mystic by car or bike, but a bit of a hike if on foot. I greatly enjoyed the old-school New England atmosphere and the location is very quiet. (My ears were ringing from the quiet!) We stayed in the The Henry David Thoreau Room...

My husband and I did hours of research when we first decided to visit Mystic for our "Grown Up Weekend Away." We debated back and forth between traditional B&Bs, "boutique" B&Bs and standard hotels, but The Old Mystic Inn kept drawing us back to their website. Turned out that my husband's parents had stayed there and since they couldn't say...

If any one is looking for a five star bed and breakfast in Mystic Connecticut the Old Mystic Inn is the place for you. Michael Cardillo, the innkeeper, made our stay more than comfortable. The rooms were clean and reminicent of the era. Michael is a self-sacrificing individual. He obviously loves what he does and it shows in everything he...

My husband and I went to the inn for an overnight last week. It was absolutely perfect. Michael was great. He met us upon our arrival, let us know where breakfast was served, where everything was that we may need in the main house and showed us the Mark Twain room which we had rented for the evening. The room...
