We spent two nights at A Beach Cottage. It is an incredibly well equipped light and bright cottage with all you could ask for. Lovely white fluffy cotton towels and duvets, gowns, heaters and a much desired electric blanket which was really welcomed. Satellite tv and a small selection of dvd's. Parking and premises well secured. Small well maintained garden...

We have no reservations about recommending this property as highly as is possible. I asked my folks (as they live in PE) to view the property for us (as I'm sceptical of places that look and sound great over the internet). A Beach Cottage looks great on the internet because it is awesome. My Mom's summary was: "It ticks all...

Thank you very much Richard and Lorraine for our best stay in Port Elizabeth so far! Every year with Ironman we are looking for comfortable, private, centrally located, neat and clean accommodation and we could not have asked for anything better. We stayed in the cottage and it is truely beautiful with much more than what you will need. Lorraine,...

My husband and I stayed with our two daughters (4 and 1 years old) at "A Beach Cottage" in December and January for over 5 weeks. To make a long story short: this is the best place to stay in PE - and I did a lot of research in advance! Their biggest USP is the 2 BR cottage, which...

My husband and I stayed at Abeach Cottage for a week over New Years and we absolutely loved it! We were so well taken care of and the accommodation was lovely. Our unit also had a well equiped kitchenette that was really handy when we weren't in the mood for eating out. Lorraine and Richard were wonderful hosts and made...

We were in PE for he South African Chess Championships. Generally, this is quite a stressful time for us, as our son is only 11 years old and needs to feel secure, comfortable and get a good night's rest in order to play well. We all loved the family unit. It was just like being in a home away from...

This is the nicest place to stay. It is just like being at a home away from home. Very very comfortable, everything you need. just hang your clothes up and it is just like home even better. The hosts Lorraine and Richard are the nicest people I have met. Very helpful and very knowledgable of the area and what is...

We moved to PE from Australia when my husband was transferred there with work. Our initial booking was for three months in the two bedroom cottage but as his posting kept getting extended we ended up living in the cottage for ten months and we couldn't have been happier. The cottage itself is lovely - bright and airy and beautifully...

“There are only two units available. We stayed in the unit for two people most comfortable.”

“The single unit is perfect for a couple that get along well and doesn't like being apart because everything is in one room with the bathroom leading off the larger room. So when one person is working in the kitchenette the other can watch tv or read on the bed or sit at the table while still being able to chat and spend time together. There are only 2 units (one single and one cottage) so there isn't a whole zoo of people there which makes for a wonderful private holiday.”
