Attentive and friendly staff. Everything we asked for and even the needs we did not vocalize where met. I mentioned my changer kept falling from he was because it was too heavy and they let me charge my camera on the main house. The next morning I found new adaptors in the room to charge the camera even though I...

We loved very much to be welcomed by the friendly basset hound Jessie!! Friendly staff. Great breakfast, the swimming pool and breakfast area is a small and quiet oasis. Very close to the beach. The room was a little bit small but extremely charming and with a nice patio.

We had a very good stay at Algoa Guesthouse. The service was impeccable, the room was clean and quite spacious, and the area itself felt very safe and welcoming. It's within walking distance to the beach, but because of the strong wind we decided to use the guesthouse pool instead, which also was quite nice. We would love to come...

A very calm, quiet, serene environment. We had a very relaxing stay. Lovely pool area with a little garden to unwind and just a short stroll to the beach. Ideal location. Loved the little kitchenette hidden away behind tall cupboard doors.

Our night at Algoa Guesthouse was comfortable. The place is easy to find, quick check-in, friendly owner. The room was comfortable for my family, we were 3 people sharing and there was ample space in the room for us, the tv worked well. Breakfast was good and served by the owner, Roger - a friendly man. No noise or traffic....

I stay at Algoa Guest House often. The staff are very friendly, and I always receive a warm welcome. The location is great because it's close to the beach, the Boardwalk and lots of great restaurants. I always enjoy the breakfast and the rooms are comfortable and offer everything you could require.

Had such a lovely stay with Lisa, Roger and Alicia! What a splendid guesthouse. Clean and quiet and a super comfy bed. Enjoyed a marvelous hot breakfast and so enjoyed the banter with Roger in the morning! They recommended Charlies Pizza Pasta for dinner and true to their word the food was delicious. Will definitely stay here again.

Below expectations. I've been to a few places and comoaring the website to the actual experience is still puzzling. Very small rooms as well. Service was good but the only way to fix this in the long run would be to drop the price a little. The venue wont have many returning visitors. Most will be first time visitors due...

We are obviously disappointed by your comments. Many of our guests (frequent travellers who choose to stay at AGH on their return visits) consistently rate us on their comfort and good value for money. We do have cheaper rooms available for the more budget conscious guests and would encourage you to ask for alternative options in future. Regards, Lisa
