The hotel is centrally located for visiting many downtown locations and attractions. It is in the heart of the Yale University district. There are numerous restaurants and cafes within walking distance and it is only a few blocks from The Green. Rooms were nicely appointed,...More
Was having a conference in the city and use this hotel for conference speakers. What a nice place. The place was clean and in an area that was close to the downtown stores and restaurants. Will definitely use this place again. The staff is super...More
I just checked into this hotel. I’ve never in my life been treated so badly checking into a hotel. I believe the woman’s name was sondi at the front desk. My girlfriend works at Yale and so we frequently stay at hotels in new haven....More

Hi George. I'm not sure which pictures you are referring to, but if someone posted pictures of bed bugs from this hotel, I can't attest to their presence or absence. I didn't see bed bugs or signs of bed bugs when I was there. Because NYC can be a source of infestation, I imagine that any hotel frequented by people coming from NYC will get them from time to time. I habitually check mattresses for spots and blood stains (signs of bedbug infestation) when I'm traveling anywhere near NYC, and I didn't see any during my stay. That doesn't mean there aren't any. I just can't speak to it.
The New Haven Hotel is located about a half mile from Union Station. It would be about a 15 minute walk however we would recommend a taxi. Thank you.
