Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Recently renovated and looks very nice. Steps from the Yale campus and easy to walk to a number of restaurants. My only complaint is that the street traffic was quite noticeable from my room on the street side (even room numbers). They do provide ear plugs but I didn't use them, though. This coming from...

VERY disappointing hotel. First, it is not in the best area ... it is "near" Yale but nearer the community soup kitchen. The hotel claims all the rooms were recently renovated, but it appears they just painted and redecorated. The closet was a joke, you might squeeze four or five jackets in IF you took out the iron. The bathroom...

We were very comfortable at this hotel! Not only is it clean and comfortable, the staff is great. I mistakenly booked for March 18th rather than February 18th, and when we arrived late in the evening, the hotel appeared to be completely booked. Taylor went above and beyond to accommodate us, and somehow worked her magic to get us into...

The hotel is within walking distance of Yale and offers a nice lobby, up to date and spacious rooms and restaurants nearby. It is, however, unusually plagued by traffic noise, permeating the walls thereby making it difficult to sleep. We had a room on the second floor and it sounded like our bed was in the middle of the road....

We stayed here for one night visiting our son at Yale - the hotel is about a block from the Whitney Gym and Morse Residential College. They are building more stores nearby, which may make the whole area a bit nicer.

This is a nice hotel near Yale University. Military rate was available and appreciated. Rooms are clean and recently remodeled. Workout room is not very extensive. Only a couple of treadmills and very small selection of weights.

The staff was friendly and professional and I was upgraded to a king suite as a platinum member. Although it there suite was actually one room with a king bed and a sofa bed, it was about 40 to 50 square felt larger than the standard rooms. This hotel is very close to Yale and has a couple of very...

I booked the Courtyard in New Haven for one night so my daughter could visit the campus again and meet her teammates at the Payne Whitney gym. The Courtyard has been remodeled and it has a nice lobby and very nice parking for a fee. There isn't a closer hotel that I know of to the Yale campus. I am...

Nice and clean. Friendly staff at front desk. Nice to have parking garage since there is limited parking in downtown New Haven. Convenient location. Many restaurants deliver to the hotel so you are not limited tk pizza delivery. Hotel was under minor renovations for improvement. Defintitely would stay there again. No microwave in room, but guests are allowed to use...

Despite a positive checkin in with the Marriott App for a 1:30 pm arrival, room was not ready at that time. 20 min later it was. Luckily we were on the back of hotel and 7th floor which was quiet. Other levels had ongoing renovations with crews. Room was recently renovated and comfortable. Bathroom is small: one person at a...
