Excellent location. The fireplace was a welcome addition. Comfortable accommodations! The complimentry breakfast was a delight and a great way to start the day. It felt like we were living in a nicer, quieter era.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We always go some place for Valentine's Day and this year we chose the Whaler Inn in Mystic, CT. We hadn't been there in over 25 years and the rates were so reasonable, that we did not know what to expect. Boy were we happily surprised. Check-in was very pleasant and Karen explained everything to us. Our room, #26 was...

My husband and I stayed for our Anniversary weekend. Staff was courteous and informative. Our room (36), was clean and nicely decorated. The only minor issue was that the shower was a bit small. Besides that, we enjoyed our stay. No need for a car. Everything is in walking distance. People in town are rather friendly. We will be making...

First off, thanks to The Whaler's Inn for squeezing us in on short notice on a Saturday night. First impressions on arriving were the great location in downtown Mystic, a friendly and accommodative front desk staff, and a tight but fortunately not quite full parking lot. Additionally, while we opted to explore local restaurants instead, the Inn offers complimentary continental...

Greetings Brian, We are so sorry to hear that your recent stay did not live up to expectations. We have a strict standard that vacuuming does not begin prior to 10:00 am, which we will continue to enforce with our housekeeping team. As for Billy Idol on loop, that is rather confounding and not something we have encountered before. Though...

This is a great hotel right in the heart of Mystic. We did not need to use our car from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and they serve a nice breakfast, delicious pastries and more. We stayed in a renovated room that was very well-equipped.

This hotel was warm, welcoming, and very clean. The cookies were delicious and the breakfast was great. Great location and easy to walk to area attractions. Bed was very comfortable and the toiletries were nice. Two areas of improvement that I think would really help make this 5 stars: the noise from the street was really loud and would be...

Had a lovely visit for three days in April. My room - a king room - was on the ground floor and was perfect. The bed was comfy and the room was spotless. I particularly am grateful to Karen for her kindness and just happy personality. I will be back!
